It's nothing personal. I don't have a problem with the guy. What would be nice, however, is any thread he posts in not instantly filling up with 84 people who think he's a troll but they won't stop feeding himand then complain when he shows up again. It honestly astounds me they can't figure it out. I shouldn't have to sift through countless crap posts that, quite frankly, I see him do nothing to provoke any more in the first place. People are literally saying "aw, Fire_Thief is still here but that's what the ignore button is for." That's just borderline stupid behavior, and these are adults who shouldn't need that explained to them.

And believe me, I know I may be a bit bent out of shape and I know the internet is srs business, but I can't be the only one. Does nobody else honestly have a problem with this?

But, in all fairness, the last time he was banned everyone was posting about how he was banned so even then they're not happy.

I'm not saying that I like the guy, and I do find most of his posts annoying, but some of the shit he stirs up is entertaining, and I haven't seen anything that he's done that he deserves to be permabanned for.
 
Isn't there an ignore feature on these forums? If there is a guy that is annoying you, use it.
 
Since when were people banned by vote or petition?

By the way, OP, if he's a troll, then he's probably an attention whore, so, you're not exactly helping.
 
Fire_Thief is one of the many characters on this site that make it what it is. Banning him by vote is completely stupid. He's not breaking the terms of service. It's people around here who have a problem with him. If it's such a big deal, put him on ignore and be done with it.
