I'm considering getting an XBox 360. What would be the cheapest way to do that? I am really worried about these red ring of death horror stories so I want to make sure that I'll be covered for any hardware malfunctions. Looking on eBay, most auctions tend to peak around $300-$350 CDN-ish, but would you guys recommend buying it from an eBay seller?

I'm pretty sure it's refurbished, but you can buy an extended warranty if you like (prices are listed at the site).
One thing, though: If you plan on buying from one of their storefronts, PHONE THEM FIRST to make sure it's in stock. Even if the site says that particular store has it in stock. Trust me on this one. It takes a minute out of your day and saves a whole lot of potential frustration.
