Why even bother, it's on RFD so I'm sure by the time I hit "post reply" everything decent will be gone from pretty much every W-M in the city.

If anybody in Edmonton would be willing to meet up on the southside, I'd be willing to give them $5 for Nier (PS3 preferably, or 360) or Tekken 6 (PS3 only). Also DMC4 (PS3 only).

If you're going tomorrow you aren't going to find anything, it's on RFD. The BC locations didn't go live in the morning. Some RFDer waited around till the deals hit, he apparently bought out every game my closest WM had and is hitting all the others around.

Here in Calgary, the Walmart on 36th street, Marlborough Mall, was picked clean this morning. The ladies at the counter were telling me that someone came earlier and filled up like 3 bags of games. I only had a few I wanted, but it still grinds my gears that these bastards exist.

There is nothing left. Seriously. Unless you want MLB The Show 09 for PS2.

I was able to get a copy of Dissidia: Final Fantasy. I don't own it, I only have it on my modded PSP - if anyone wants it, PM me and you can have it for free. Otherwise it's going up on Kijiji.

dude that Konga pack has been around forever. it was over priced when it was an individual game and even as a two pack it's was a hard sell. My walmart still have Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles WITH the GBA cables.. for $60
 
Any word on Ottawa, specifically Orleans? I'd love copies of Wolfenstien, Tekken 6 and Ninja Gaiden for that price. I'd love Fallout 3 too, but I'm sure that's a pipe dream. If anyone scores extras please let me know.

I totally missed out on this deal. The RFD people + wm employees have stripped most walmarts bare. I gotta stop looking at this thread. It's depressing and aggravating at the same time.
 
West Edmonton. Total bust. Nothing I wanted was there and, while I didn't look too hard, I didn't even find anything from the list that I didn't want.

I sure hope everyone who was complicit in clearing out the shelves is actually planning on playing those games.
 
If anyone is in Calgary, everything is cleaned out. Some guy over on RFD virtually went to every Wal-Mart in the city during the day, and bought almost all current gen games that were a $1. This is hoarding to the extreme. I hope EB Games or whereever he is going to trade them in to catches him and refuse to accept them. I know for sure he went to Royal Oak, Northland, 36th Street, Malbourgh, so he probably went to others as well (if he went across the city).
 
As much as I want to get in on this, it's fucking cold here right now, I have a big backlog games to play through, and I don't want to go only to find that there's only a handful of crappy PS2 games left.

fuck RFD. This is one of the main reasons I quit that site, it attracts some of the biggest lowlifes around.

The salesman at my local Walmart told me that they were completely cleaned out by one guy who told them he was going to go over to Gamestop and trade in all the games. Screw that guy, I actually wanted something to play!

Wow, that's crazy. Too bad I was at uni when this was posted, and I will be there tomorrow as well so I can't go and see what's left.

The only thing I really wanted was Star Ocean anyway, but I couldn't find that when it was $10 so....
 
Checked out 2 locations here in Calgary (Macleod Trail/Deerfoot Meadows) and only spotted Supreme Commander, Naruto, Tomb Raider (DS) and GH: World Tour for PS2.

Edit: I always figured we had to have a few hoarders here in Calgary, and after checking out the RFD thread I see one of them has made themselves known. Man, what is up with what looks like damn near every poster on that site only ever buying games to trade/make a profit. I'm not really looking forward to when gaming goes completely digital, but knowing that it will put a stop to all this reselling crap will totally make it worth it. God, I can't stand the word 'turd'...

Went to both Burlington locations tonight and picked up AC/DC Rock band for PS3 and Xbox, Jerico and Endwar for PSP.

Annnnd that was it, unless you want like CSI for the PC. Derp.
 
I thought the sale wasn't even on in BC. Well either way I didn't think to bother... too much hoarders here to be worth the gas and effort.
 
I went to the one at bayview and major mac and saw two guys bought over 100 games. They put them in 3 boxes and left. 15 minutes later I went to the EB in that location and saw the same guys trading in the games.
 
I keep looking at this thread, and wondering if it's worth trying to find copies of the few interesting games listed... but my area is rife with hoarders for any big sale. It's really hard to justify the trip when you're likely to come out empty-handed.

Yea apparently the wal-mart on mumford was cleaned out by a single guy. Bayers lake isn't much better but I managed to pick up a few half-decent titles to make the trip worth it (all in halifax, no idea about elsewhere in the province).
 
Also in Nova Scotia---went in to the WM in the Valley this am--picked clean, but employee was putting a few new games on sale. Managed to grab Yakuza 3 (ps3) and Magical Starsign (DS) for 1$ each. Not much else worth reporting (a bowling game for the wii and a few other crappy DS titles)

The employee said that they will receive an additional list tomorrow, but given today's titles, I'm not expecting much else...

Kanata had a few Tekken 6 around 5:30pm yesterday. Not much for PS3 otherwise.

These were also $1: Wii Resident Evil, Wii Muramasa, PSP Pangya Fantasy Golf, PS3 SingStar High School Musical or Disney (or something like that)

Apparently haha, I just came back from Lasalle, and Jean-Talon/Decarie, and both were pretty much cleared out yesterday. I asked the CSR, and people just loaded up, games were gone quickly. I did manage to find a copy of Metro 2033 for the PC, and Scribblenauts for the DS... but in large, there's not much left but sports games for the PS2 and a few leftovers.

Upper James in Hamilton cleaned out. Also got to watch the police get called to deal with some rude people. Ps fu hoarders
 
There is still quite some games at my local wal-mart, but none of them where at $1.

They changed the placing of the $20 dollar and under rack, took me a while... there were also a cart with some crappy games that were at $1. I bought a few ds games cause I need new cases for some of my collection.
 
There's a new Wal-Mart opening right across my street on the 29th. Maybe they will have a few $1 games there, though nothing on the list other than PS3 Star Ocean interests me.

Seems like most of Durham got hit by a hoarder. I saw him at the North Oshawa store with a good 25 games, putting up a fight with the employees over the price. Posts on RFD say a similar looking guy hit Ajax and Pickering as well.

It sucks even worse when the hoarder is rude and being an ass to the employees.
 
I live 180 miles south of Quebec and would have to cross the border for this. :(

Anyone willing to pick me up some good 360 games, first-party Nintendo games, or Square-Enix games? Depending on what you could get, I'd pay you at least $2 more per item, and then shipping. :(
