Canon Rebel T1i Kit - Best Deal Under $1000

I am looking for the best T1i Kit deal available. I am looking for deals such as the ones offered by Adorama.com or Bhphotovideo.com I really do not want to spend over $1000 but if it a really good deal over $1000 let me know.

i just bought it from amazon.com with a 3 year warranty for 717.49 after a 60 dollar giftcard. Could i have done better? Not too late to cancel my order.

If by kit you mean the body plus kit lens, then you probably did okay. For cameras, In general if you find an incredible deal for much less than the going rate most likely it's a scam or some other unauthorized chicanery.

The other "kit" deals where they throw in a lot of other extra stuff usually are not a good buy as all the accessories (like uv filters, polarizers, etc) are junk and low quality. Better to buy that stuff one at a time once you can afford a good quality one.

If you can find it again retailers tend to bundle this with the 55-250 for around $800-900 just like they did with the XSi last year. I would recommend the XSi if you are looking only to take pictures as DP Review said that the low light performance is slightly better on the XSi, but you lose out on the video which can be a deal breaker. The price and value for the XSi for what you get, though, is unbeatable.
