Car Audio stuff?

I know Circuit City is having a "Over $99 free installation" and 50% off Pioneer speaker sale, but is there any other store that has some sort of great deal on car stereo stuff?

I'm looking for speakers, Head Unit, and Amplifier. (Not really worried about a subwoofer.)

crutchfield.com if you're willing to install yourself. i've installed speakers and receiver and it's a piece of cake. all hardware and instructions are included and CC's "free" installation isn't free, they'll charge parts too and make you wait longer than it'd take you yourself.

fuck CC... I had them install a deck in my car a few months back because I had stock dual-decks. They tried to charge me over $140 because they messed it up the first time.

Do not at all let them do anything to your car. My best friend works there and he said they break stuff glue it back together in your car. They usually screw something up and make you pay for it. Crutchfield is the best. They will give u directions how to do everything and will give you everything you need for free. I had no experience with car audio when I bought my system and crutchfield's directions let me put it my head unit speakers subwoofer and amp with no trouble. And if you run into any problems you can call and they will walk you through it. They are the best. Stay far away from CC for any car audio.

I promise I won't let CC touch my car.

But would it still be cheaper to get my equipment from CC with the 50% off speakers?

If I refer someone to Crutchfield, you get $20 off your first order but it must be over $200. Let me know if you want to go with crutchfield and i'll give you a refferal discount.

I appreciate the offer, but I don't see anything on the site with the options I want.

(I want one of the new stereo's with a USB port or SD card slot.)

Yeah I searched again after I posted, but for some reason when I enter in my car information it didn't show any of the USB stereos.

But alas, I got a stereo today plus installation from a local business, got a decent deal, rewired some stuff for me, and I'm gonna get speakers from him too.

I actually installed at ccity for 2 years...if they break anything in your car they are suppose to pay for it..thats what their insurance is for..any car audio place like best buy or ccity run the same way...I pretty much hate ccity..because i dont think they care much about their employees(sorry for my rant)..Buy from crutchfield or even ebay...pioneer speakers in my opinion suck but if your just looking for a replacement and not an upgrade they will do...for an upgrade..look into eclipse speakers..they are the best sounding speakers to me..and for the headunits stay away from jvc(had lots of defects on them)phase linear and jensen..Personally I love alpine headunits..mine is about 4 years old and i dont think i would ever upgrade again till it dies...you can basically tune the speakers on how far they are from your head..and thats done by doing it online at alpine and buring it to a disc...its not hard to install yourself...save your money and at least try to install it yourself...and btw im a girl..maybe that will motivate you haha
