Carnivale Seasons 1 and 2 for $76.76 Shipped

Awesome that this coupon is back. I picked up season 2 up last time when they had the glitch that you could stack coupons and got 30% off. I had already gotten season 1 at Costco like a month before Christmas when they had $20 off any HBO dvd set for $30.

I didn't have much time. Plus other things I was watching 1st. But I'm about 4 episodes into season 1 now and liking the show a lot so far.

It's worth it, then again, it's not. It's kind of like Shenmue; Shenmue 1 and 2 are great games, if you can deal with the fact that you'll probably never know how the saga ends.

This (idiotic) argument put me off of the show for far too long and I regret it. The answer is a definitive YES, see this show at all and any cost.

Wow, I don't remember being rude in my comment. I thought I conveyed that it was a quality, incredible show. I saw every episode. But it's disappointing how season two ends knowing that there will never be a season three. I didn't say don't watch it.

One of my favorite shows of all time (if not my favorite). It did end prematurely, but what's there is excellent. I have HBO, and when it originally aired, I'd watch each new episode twice a week. There was so much to get out of most of the episodes.

On the other hand, if you don't like shows that slowly dole out clues, you won't like this show. If you have trouble with movies/shows that don't make it clear or plain as to what's going on, Carnivale isn't for you.

I think it is an outstanding show, but I also think its fair to let someone know that there is no resolution to the series before they drop over $70 bucks. No need to fly off the handle.

you could say the same thing about the twin peaks TV series. Good show imo, i dont need to have everything solved. Sheesh none of the episodes of the xfiles are ever resolved, they never solve any cases, i never understood why mulder and scully never got canned. but i digress, i still watch.
