I finally found friggen Castlevania:SOTN. I don't really care that it's GH, I wish to play, not collect. Regardless of collector value, I haven't been able to find a copy in over 2 years, GH or not. And of all places, i find it new...at a Blockbuster...for 15 bucks! That definently made my day.
 
nice find elfangel7, my blockbuster has a few copies left. I have been wanting to pick one up but havent got around to it.

I dont think it was reprinted, I heard that the wherehouse which supplies all Blockbusters found a box of unsold Castlevania SOTNs so they distributed them to most stores to sell.

I also scored on this for $15 while the local Gamestop near my house was selling it for $45 for a used copy. :shock:

If it's a greatest hit version, then it has to be reprinted. What do you think they are going to do? Recall all the current copies, repackage them with the GH logo and ship them out again?

He meant reprinted as in recently reprinted. The GH copies were pressed about 4-5 years ago.
 
My personal pick for greatest 2d game ever made (out of any genre). I've recently got it back and every once and while it sucks whole days out of my life.

I really never liked Castlevania games but when i saw this for 15 bucks at my blockbuster i had to buy it. Needless to say i still don't like Castlevania but i still own the game (considerbly one of the best ps1 games ever).
 
Same exact thing with me. I was looking for this game for many moons, and one day, I was in my Blockbuster, which had never had it, and there it was. 3 GH SOTNs. One was marked 10 buks, so I was even able to get it 5 bucks cheaper than most. It's a fantastic game.
 
nice! That game is worth it full price. I was able to find 3 copies at Sam's Club for 13$ each but I'll probably go check out my Blockbuster today.
