CC 20-30% off bin

Shadows916

CAGiversary!
Went to CC in Smith haven long island, they had a 20-30% off bin for PS2-Xbox-GC. mostly greatist hits type things, but also had other games in as well, nothing great but each store might have something diffrent

the last time i hit them, i found capcom vs snk 2 EO for 9.99...you never know what you may find.

The bins in my local CC almost always filled with crappy games. The best thing I found there was the Star Wars/Tetris Xbox combo disc for a penny.

Is your bin actually discounted 20-30%? For example could you pick up a greatest hits title like Morrowind for $15?

I went to the CC at the Christiana Mall in DE and it looked like false advertising to me.

I went to their bargin bin. which has around a hundred games. Mostly crappy, but there might be one or two things worth 20-30% off. They're all regular price. In other words, they're the same price they've been since new years. 90% $20 with a couple at $15. But definately not discounted.

So, I went up and talked to one of the redshirts, and he got a manager. And politely I asked about the 20-30% discount. That if the games were further discounted 20-30% and he said that the prices reflected the discount. Well, I explain that these games have been these prices since January. I've been in there nearly every couple of weeks and the prices absolutely have not changed. So, unless you're discounting 20-30% off the price, it's not really a discount. He explains that the advertisement was just showing that they had titles on discount, not that they were being discounted further.

Their prices weren't even that good either. The same as I can get at every other competitor around here. nyway, it seems a lot like false advertising to me if you have a 20-30% of clearance bin titles and you don't actually discount those 20-30%.

The only way I might find a deal is if I rummage through the bin and price check twenty to thirty games. But since I need a redshirt for that, and it''s the busiest day of the week for them, it's not worth the aggravation they'll give me. CC is notorious for having prices less than listed. But after the fith one scans at the same price as shown, the redshirts become much less cooperative.

My CC had Frequency marked at $24, but I didn't have time to pricecheck this. If anyone happens to make a trip down, could you doublecheck this one?

I bought two games marked as $15 (GBA: Chu Chu Rocket and NHL 2002) but rang up as $12 (20% off) today. There weren't any signs saying 20%-30% off and these games weren't even in the bin in the middle of the game section; they were on a shelf in the regular GBA section.

it isn't really a sale, I was at CC on friday and they had a bin with games marked 20-30% off already, so I'm guessing the ad is just making light of that, pretty cheap on their part, but I can't complain after getting Metroid Prime for $15 from there

You should see the markdowns for hardware. I'll post the complete list later in the evening, but on the list there are gba sp w/ mario for $70 or $80, xboxs with the big controller for $130 or $140, monter s-video cables for gamecube for $10, which I picked up yesterday. Now the only way most stores will have this is if an associate knows about the markdowns, because at my CC only one person is obligated to do it.

Tallahassee CC 20%-30% sucks. They had everything at full price of when it came out (AKA most stuff is still 39.99-49.99. With the percentage off, it still wouldn't be worth anything since you can most of it elsewhere for cheaper.

The bin at the CC I go to is not even organized. People take non 20-30% off games from regular shelf and toss it into the bin when they change their mind on buying. The best way to deal with it is to ask for a price check.

I've also seen Frequency for $10 new at my local Sam Goody stores.

Tenchu Wrath of Heaven for PS2 is $14.97 BEFORE the 20%-30% off (unless that is already accounted for in the price tag)
