Cheap Gaming Computers

none of those are worth the money, unless you are a foolio, putting a pc together is like a 5 piece lego set

I'm getting free magazines (thanks to CAG ;)) and a few of them are about PCs. Cyber Power System PC's are good on all levels besides the fact that's it's not stable. So I highly suggest you don't purchase from that site.

What do you mean unstable? It's just like THEY'RE building a PC and giving it to you right? What's unstable about that?

You'll be surprised how much the actual shipping costs are. It's pretty close. You can't stuff a computer + monitor in a bubble envelope and ship it media mail.

Last time I shipped a bare aluminum Lian-Li case, it cost me ~$25 for UPS Ground (not including the cost of box + filler).

If Dell didn't give free shipping, they charge $99 for Ground. Alienware is ~$100.

www.cyberpowersystem.com This has some good computer pricing you should check it out. I would save up to get one but I'm going to make my own.

Those prices are quite high... Why are you plugging them anyway? Glad to hear you're making your own though, you're much better off.

Those quoted prices on the frontpage come in a beige case with no monitor. Most of the add-ons are rediculously priced, and the included video cards are a joke.

Yeah. When you look at what you're getting it's by no means the best of the best. A rather generic Asus motherboard, 256 generic RAM (god help whoever gets a bad set), and a friggin MX440. Heck, they're not even including a DVD drive. No monitor either with onboard sound. I guess you get what you pay for.
