cheap media

staples was selling 8x dvd's (+ and -) for 7.94 last week... i bought 25 packs... plus i had mad coupons... my 50 packs were like $5 each.... not bad

also, NOT ONE COASTER MADE YET out of 3 packs!

I would NEVER buy cheap DVD media. Its always a crap shoot and one you usually LOSE. Just pony up the $20 for Fujis/Verbatims when they go on sale and be done with it.

And yes, while no coasters is good, lets see how and if those suckers last. I wont put anything critical on a crap DVD. Its asking for trouble.

what about Sony or Maxwells? I heard its best to stay away from Memorex and Imation and other generic cheap media.
