Anyone know of any reliable sites to purchase Neo Geo Pocket Color games cheap besides www.gameliquidation.com or www.play-asia.com ? Both of those sites have some nice stuff and good prices, but I'm looking to see if I can find any games either cheaper or complete (both those sites pretty much only sell cartridge only). Also those sites don't have a few games I'm looking for, mainly crush roller and shanghai.

Any help is appreciated

I have these for trade or sale Including the system Itself..:D

The Match Of The Millennium
Samurai Showdown 2
Metal Slug 1st Mission
Has anyone ever ordered from GameLiquidation.com? I'm thinking about getting some of thier NGPC games... Was it a good shopping experience? :?: :?:
I ordered some NGPC games from them not too long ago. I'd say it was a good shopping experience. I ordered after reading praise from several other people on this board.

I bought a bunch of stuff from them back when they had a mad sale going on for the NGPC stuff last year. I was very happy with them, and I love my little NGPC (even though I may not play it as often as I should).

Has anyone ever heard of NGPC internal light kits like the old afterburners? or any good faqs on how to make one?

I definitely would recommend buying from GameLiquidation. I ordered my NGPC starter kit, two set of game 4-packs, and two extra games, with a nice discount. I believe the coupon code still works (15offneonow) for 15% the starter kit and two 4-packs. single games don't apply. The stuff comes in a timely amnner and it's all in great shape. As long as you don't care the games are cart only (and at these prices, and the scarcity of complete games, who cares?) this is a great deal.

Does anyone know if there's a large market for pirated NGPC games, I'm always seeing "cartridge only" for auctions and personal sellers. So it seems suspicious to me. I mean what happened, did all the cases and manuals disappear? I really want to pick up some more games (I just recently got Card Fighters Clash and it's awesome) but I was real copies of the games. Faselei used to cost $50-70 complete, now the cartridge only can be gotten for $15, so I just want to make sure I'm getting an actual, offially licensed product, not some freakin' knock off. Also does anyone know where I can possibly get a replacement screen, mines still in good shape, but in case it would ever get scratched I'd like to get a back up before they completely disappear.

A lot of unsold NGPC games were sold to distributors with just the cartridge and case for the cartridge. That is why many eBay auctions are for cartridge only.

Like Yoshi said, when SNK USA went bye bye, all of the remaining cartridges were sold off to "game liquidation" stores/sellers, mostly just as cartridge only in the plastic case - For the replacement screen, i bought one from a guy called nate.gamers on eBAY recently for around 3$ (6 after shipping).... although it looks like he isn't listing any right now ... you might want to check there...... I've bought several things in the past from him with no problems at all....

I remember when FASELEI! used to go for big bucks on ebay, now they are a dime a dozen. I just resently got back into collecting NGPC games, but its so hard because rarly do you find a complete game (ie. Intructions, Box)

I wish there was some repository of manuals for this system, since many games were sold cartridge only.. GTmaster, how about scanning all these manuals for us?

Yeah it sucks that it's so hard to find games with the manual, let alone the box. But the fact that some games (i.e. faselei), used to be really expensive, and now arent' is a pretty good consolation. In any event I highly recommend tracking down a copy of Card Fighters clash for that that haven't yet, it's fun game.

Sorry for the disappointment, but I'm collecting Carts only. Like I said, finding anything complete is really hard, even for me. And eBay sellers arent much help. From this point on, If I find any complete versions of games ill try and scan them, but I dont know if Cheapy would let me post them.

EDIT: I just found this site, I dont know how reliable it is, but it seems that they are selling factory sealed NGPC games. Check it out if you want.

Does anyone know, would I be able to figure out how to play Faselei without the manual, since acquiring the cart only isn't that difficult? I was a little worried about this same situation with getting Card Fighters Clash, but that was a pretty intutive game, so now I'm interested in getting Faselei, but I don't want to get in over my head.

As I highlighted in an earlier thread, I got a great head start on collecting NGPC games when I got a boxed system and 7 complete games from a guy for $65! That was really awesome, but I haven't found any more complete games since. They are just very scarce, not that I'm going to stop looking!
