Strike 2 - Money Order only

I'd try getting the payment done through an escrow service if possible. Best of luck to ya.

How can a brand new ebayer expet to even sell something for such a price? Seriously, nothing over $100 should be sold until you reach atleast 20 feedback, and 10 of that should be for selling items.

Hmmm.... says she takes personal checks.... tell her you're leery of a money order for such a big purchase becuase it could be stolen, and send a check. Also, try to get her to send 'same time'- in other words, give a delivery confirm # (I'm sure someone here will tell you if the sequence is OK or if the number's fake.) Lastly- postdate the check. Since she says she'll send priority, you know it needs to be there in 3 days at most. if it goes longer, you can put a stop-payment on the check.

I doubt you'have have an easy time convicing the seller, but if she's legit and reasonable, she'll understand how fishy it looks and at least try for a compromise.

Postdating checks rarely works. Bank tellers typically don't pay all that close of attention, and there are other, shadier places to cash checks.

who knows..maybe its just a newbie who hasnt even heard of paypal. Talk to the seller and see if the seller knows about paypal. If that person doesnt...send the seller that way..again as everyone else says who knows how incline the seller really is to open up the account and go through the trouble but its worth a shot...

yea but i wouldnt buy anything from a newbie seller and besides they dont even have the actually pictures of the products they are selling though its a bit fishy but maybe she really isnt a scam

Never know. Could be someone with buyers remorse towards the PSP. That doesn't want to pay Paypal fees, and doesn't own a digital camera.

I hope it works out for you. If it does, that's a SCREAMING deal!

Or you could buy a PSP from me. $300 with two games and free shipping. Used but it has NO dead pixels. Also, I have good feedback here at CAG and a +30 at ebay with NO negative feedback.

PM for more info or pics.
