So I plan on selling various items, mainly toys, and the issue I'm running into is the excessive packaging of some of these items. I want to sell the items in new condition, with the original box, so getting rid of the retail packaging is out of the question.
One item I plan on shipping has dimensions of roughly 23"x17"x6". It appears as though ground shipping is the cheapest optioni... and yet even that costs $20-$35 depending on where it's going in the U.S.
I realize that on ebay for example, the customer is the one who is paying for shipping, however I want the shipping costs I quote to be as accurate as possible so as to a) not deter bidders and b) not end up charging too little and as a result having the difference in shipping come out of my pocket.
