Stupid question here: Do you get the figurine from ordering online only or can you get it from the B&M store too?

Most B&M stores have it also.
 
I wonder if id paid them to do that, or they did it themselves hoping to bolster sales? I'd guess id paid for it as an ad.
 
Is Doom 3 for the Box really that big a deal? I don't think GS did anything like this for GTA:SA, Halo 2, Half-Life 2 or, hell, even Doom 3 for PC, and I'd say that all were probably bigger releases. Id had to have paid quite a price for this, that's the only conclusion I can come up with.

On November 9th last year, Gamestop.com became Halostop.com... as if I didn't need anymore reminders that Halo 2 came out that day
 
I think a lot of retailers creamed their pants over doom 3 cause they saw it as an opportunity for an early in the year big game. But that just doesn't happen. People don't get too excited about games in april. People get excited about the Final Four, and going out and playing baseball now that the 4 feet of snow have melted.. so things like this happen, so that gamestop can sell the most Doom 3s they possibly can.

I was going to do that, then I decided just to not look at the entire page and just closed the tab. It's settled though, when I do get Doom 3 it definitely won't be from GS. :lol:

EDIT: I ordered the game from CC.com this morning.
