I didn't see this posted in the CC Ad thread or anywhere else but I went to pick up one of the classics games today along with the free Mario Bros. T-shirt and found out that ALL of the classics series games are good for this deal and are priced at $14.99. Figured I'd post this for anyone who wanted the shirt but wanted one of the other classics games like Zelda or Excitebike.

i went to CC yesterday but they still didnt have them for sale. i was just assuming theyd be there on wednesday like the ad said, but id rather not take a chance of them running out of shirts.
 
I went to two different CC's on Sunday and Monday and got 3 games at each. They only give 1 shirt per customer so I just got 1 from each store I bought from. The shirts only come in size Large though, so not everyone is going to be able to wear them. I'm leaving both mine sealed in the bags they came in.
 
i bought mario bros and donkey kong and the lady that checked me out was new and she gave me one shirt for each game. The only games the one i went to had was those two and pac man. didnt have excite bike or zelda.
 
Awesome, thanks. I was going to pass this over because I don't think I need to play more of the original SMB. But when I saw the sale was good for Zelda as well, I was there. Grabbed Zelda, the shirt, and picked up a $10 Warcraft III: Frozen Throne while I was there. Not a bad trip. :)
 
Damn, I just called my CC and they're already out of the shirts. I know it's "while supplies last," but this is bull. The promotion wasn't even supposed to start until tomorrow! :evil:

That's all well and good, but try to have some mercy on your fellow CAGs! You're probably not from my area, so your case doesn't affect me directly... but I'm just saying as a general thing. These shirts are going fast!
 
I went to mine in Wayne NJ on RT 46 , I had to ask at the customer service desk because the games were not out on the shelf. She gave me 1 shirt and 1 Zelda game for 15.00!!!! I did not try to get extras because I know many CAGers are in NJ.

That was at lunch time today
 
I hate to say this, but the shirt is NOT worth free. It will make you look like (and im being nice here) a retard from 1984.

Yes, the orange is THAT bad.

On a side note, i got mine on sun. with shirt. Mario freakin rocks. altough i could almost swear that because of the scren things are timed just a bit off enemy wise.
 
I like the retro shirts. I picked up this cool Starsky and Hutch retro 70's looking shirt the other day. Everyone was asking about it the day I wore it.

I guess its HIP to be Square
 
What are the prices for the games?

Can someone confirm? I bought Zelda and Excitbike last week and they were $20 each... so if they're less now could at least get my pricematch!

if you are hoping for perfect conversions, then dont get your hopes up. Every forth row of pixels is removed to get it to fix on the GBA screen. Mario loses his mustache because of this

If wearing that shirt makes me look like a retard, big whoop. If anything you'll get praise since retro clothing seems to be what these kids want to wear nowadays.
