Circuit Citys around North County (San Diego) are getting 360's in on Sunday

Grimes

CAGiversary!
Most stores already have them physically in stock, but they have been removed from the system in order to coincide with them being advertised in the ad on Sunday. The Escondido location has 13 of the premium bundles in stock, and they will be sold on a first come first serve basis. I'll check tomorrow on all the other stores, and if you would like me to check a certain store, let me know.

I want to pick up a premium 360 before April... but I dodn't plan on getting one tomorrow... Damn... what to do, what to do...

I haven't been keeping track of the 360 madness... do you guys think there'll be a line?

If stores are still having 'mini-launches' like this, even in March, then yes, there will be some sort of line.

On behalf of the compassionate and fortunate 360 owners out there, I truly feel sorry for all of you that have to deal with this sort of thing almost FOUR MONTHS AFTER LAUNCH!! I know they're not exactly easy to find right now, but I'd personally boycott Circuit City (not that I shop there anyway) or any store that subsequently holds shipments back to drum up some more ****ing bull**** hype.

March ain't that far away from May, when the world will learn A LOT more about the PS3 (and Revolution), and May ain't that far away from Fall, when both will ship. On top of that, May is probably when gaming stores will start taking official preorders for both systems. Microsoft might think that what these retail chains are doing is 'cute' and 'mutually beneficial' (for buzz and interest), but they'd better 'watch their six', just to sound a little 'thugged out' for a second.

I know the Mission Valley Best Buy has 360's in stock; as they had numerous signs on the entrance doors. That was just this past Thursday, so I'm not sure about how many they have left.

Just wanted to point that out if anyone was interested; just make a call and see what they have in stock. Hope this helps anyone..

Well, the reason I ask is because I will be at work, but my gf offered to go try and pick one up for me... I don't want to send her if she's gonna get caught up in some nonsensical "5th launch" bullhsit.

I've had a couple of slim sightings at the Mira Mesa Best Buy a couple of times. No signs or anything, just a little Xbox 360 table with the actual units for sale on the floor near their shitload of warranty packets. They will do ANYTHING to get you to buy the PRP.

My gf is gonna swing by after her hair appointment tomorrow and see if there are any left, though I'm not expecting much.

Well just to let you know, I guess they are doing a voucher handout, so it's first come first serve.

$80 to protect a $400 purchase isn't bad at all, especially Circuit City's. Of course, I got mine for $40, but still :p

Ditto Nintendo DS is japan?

The El Cajon Best Buy has been getting shipments almost every week since Christmas, either on Thursday or Friday. I got my Premium last Friday, one of about 20 that came in. Got mine around 11 a.m. and they had just arrived.

Dunno about the other BBs - I'd guess the busy Mission Valley store would be hardest to get them at. Try the ones a little further out - El Cajon, Chula Vista or the N. County ones.
