I got a physical copy of Civ V GOTY edition as a present the other day..the only problem is that I am currently doing all my gaming on a Alienware MX11 netbook. I downloaded the demo from Steam and my netbook can run it. But my real concern is if I need to install anything using the DVDs, as I do not have a DVD drive. I have gathered that it requires Steam to run, so I was curious if I can just activate the product through Steam and download all the files I need? Anyone know for certain? I would hate to open it otherwise, as I could get the receipt and return it if I know it will not work.
