I'm trying to help my friend meet her goal to raise $1,000 for CP in honor of her nephew Brady that passed away a few years back. If you make a donation to:

The Race is this Sunday so I will be closing the contest at noon on Saturday. When I draw the names the first person chosen will get first pick of games and I'll notify the other winner that they'll get the other game.

I'd love to help out because it's charity, but I've been out of work for 11 months, just found a part-time job, and have $11,000 in debt to pay off. So, best of luck to entrants, and thanks to all for donating.

BTW, you might get this thread locked as it's technically not "free". Hopefully the mods overlook it because of the good cause.
 
I thought this might qualify as a "contest". That should keep it relevant to this forum.

I hope things start picking up for you bdavid81, definately take care of that debt before giving your money away. I recently lost my job too and that is why I created this contest, I have games to give away but no spare cash to simply donate to Crystal's run.

Yeah, last week I got a position cooking at one of my favorite local restaurants, just hoping it turns into full-time, and then paying off debt won't be any problem.

Thanks. While I'd love to sell it, I know my mother would love having one for Crossword DS & MahJongg, so it's going to her. Luckily, Mother's Day is coming up, so I have a decent opportunity there. :)
 
My intention was to pick the first name and give that person first dibs and then the other person would get the other game. As it stands right now it's just between you and sleepy!
 
Sorry I can't donate anything (also been off of work for about a year, not much extra money lately) but best wishes from a Sturgeon Bay CAG! I'd definitely do the run if I could make it more than half a mile, but I'm glad that we have the telethon each year and such to raise money for the cause.

I'm in the same boat, no job right now, but I found that this is a way that I could contribute to the cause.

And for those that are curious, Crystal is going completely stir-crazy waiting for the race tomorrow.
