Convince me on the Wii and win a game

I dont like nintendo ,his games or the gimmick wii. so i woulnt recomend any1 to buy that. isntead get the real next gen. system the PS3. with the best games,let me know when nintendo stars cooking some hot ' ' ---N---E---W--- ' ' exclusives tittles the likes of assasings creed,heavenly sword,liar ect. and then we talk. for now wii= next virtual boy and i think its going to kill nintendo and nintendo will die this new generation like sega and atari did.

This thread is a like a supergroup of some of the biggest idiots at CAG. (Some, not all. And not everyone is an idiot in here, I'm just sayin'.)

The main reason you should buy a WII is that it is a FULL SERVICE game system...if you know what I am getting at. The 360 and the PS3 are just teases...the WII knows how to go all the way to satisify the the gamer. Think of the WII as that massage parlor that your dad goes to after a long hard days work. Sometimes the girls aren't as pretty at this massage parlor as they would be at the PS3 or 360, but they deliverer the full service goods and are not just eye candy.
 
As far as convincing you to buy the system, this really is only something that you can do. Their new slogan is, "playing is believing". So go out and play around with some demo stations when they come out, or try it at a friend's house for some more diverse games.

No amount of talking about it or marketing will be able to convey the full experience.

No dont get the wii it has a terrible desing the most unconfortable controler ever invented and it just moves games with a gimmick that can capture your movments like the PS2 eyetoy nothing really new here. and yeah by law more mario's.no new games that why i hate nintendo they dont care about the costumers, an xbox with a gimmick doesnt cost 250.
 
Couldn't you call the "limited" motion-detection in the PS3 controller gimmicky, by your definition? By the way, the most uncomfortable controller is the Xbox Fatty Edition controller.

If you've been a gamer for awhile, you're probably bored with the same old crap the industry has been pedaling, the Wii offers innovation with tons of support.

Mature gamers understand that fun doesn't require good graphics.

1. The specs arnt the same as the old Xbox, the Wii is more similar to the DC or PS2 where it seems more in beteen generations and is being considered weaker then it is.

2. While it may seem the controller will get old after a bit you havnt taken into consideration that the controlers come together to form a regular controller and there is also the old school controller. This means games can now be played through the creative new methods or classic methods. Also every single person so far thats played with it, even those from rival companies like Sony and MS have praised it and said its a blast.

3. Again its way cheaper.

4. Nintendo is the only company that puts out a good launch product.

5. Virtual console will provide new games. Gaming is all about fun so if you can put graphics aside(though no offense it sounds like you cant)then you will find yourself having alot of fun with new games you put out alot less cash for.

6. The connectivity to the DS.

7. Its Nintendo. Even if the console doesnt end up being the most amazing thing since sliced bread your guranteed your $200 worth from Nintendo first party alone.

Ya it is pretty stupid.......... but I rarely see Nintendo being the attractive girl.

Also I dont have anything against Apple but those commercials piss me off for some reason.

Since it no longer matters, I'll just throw in one last nonsensical tirade to the thread:

In FPS and Gun games, the Wii will do something that almost every shooter setup save a Guncom with a reload petal will do... Respect the cock.
In early offerings in the genre, especially with light guns, you had to go through odd methods to have the in-game gun chamber a bullet, be it either point the gun away from the tv to reload or have it do a sissy auto reload. No respect for the cock.

In most set-ups for for FPS or light-gun style games on the Wii, the developer can assign a button on the face of the controller to specifically reload the gun, giving an actually reasonable physical action to coralate to the activity.

The Wii respects the cock.
 
It's worth it because if you like Gamecube and wish you could upgrade your Gamecube so it can use a controller that moves a Tennis racket around for 200 bucks, well then your set...

Forget innovation as an art form, or innovating game direction and coming up with new creative stories and styles. INNOVATION is just another name for Controllers that control Tenis rackets and golf clubs. THATS real innovation.

I have a few reasons I plan to buy the Wii, mainly its very affordable and seems highly innovative. I imagine using my controller as a tennis racket, or a gun (gunconesk) to be very enjoyable. The new smash brothers looks simply amazing, as well as many of the games comming to the Wii. It allows me to sell my gamecube (earning back some of my spent money) since it is compatible with gamecube games and even the memory cards. Overall the Wii seems like an innovative upgrade of my gamecube, if you love or even like gamecube then you shouldn't have much reason not to want the Wii.
