costco out of PS3. will they restock?

my 60gb died on me and i need a replacement, but i really prefer to get one(bundle or not) from costco due to their return policy.
right now they're out of stock(online+all local stores) or stopped carrying them since summer(according to 1 employee). he did say that they might restock for winter shopping season.

anyone familiar with costco regarding this issue? they have both 360/wii bundles, but not ps3.

i don't play ps3 often and i got other consoles/handhelds/pc to keep me busy, and i guess i can watch dvds on my 360(ouch) instead of bluray. i "think" i can wait several months if costco will stock em.

When did you buy it? If you bought this before - and I mean before as in YEARS ago when it was a lifetime warranty on EVERYTHING - then you can get it replaced if you have the receipt. I keep all my receipts so it is possible....however they changed their policy quite awhile ago to 90 days that they still have on tech since people took advantage of the return policy when something new comes out since it gets outdated fast....

However you have to check this - I got a RRoD on my Xbox I got in 2006 and they took it when it happened summer of 2009....however this is if you are familiar. I have been shopping there for a long time but you got to look it up. I remember it is something along those lines.

I don't believe he's having any problems with their return policy, he just can't find any costcos with PS3s in stock. Also, while they did change their lifetime return policy years ago to exclude certain items, they didn't exclude video game consoles:
