Costco Xbox 360 Bundles (not likely falcons)

I was at Costco today ad it looks like they had a palette full of xbox 360 bundles with free games outside of the actual xbox 360 box. I believe it comes with an additional controller for $399. The problem is, the section of the box that contains the lot number info as well as the team info was covered with a white sticker. I managed to find one that had a sticker placed low enough that the lot number was partially visible and it was lot #0732. I hope this info helps prospective 360 buyers.

Costco has an amazing warranty.. It depends when they were shipped there, they may have just had them in stock for a while.. dunno.

imo, more of an excellent return policy than anything..

I think it's the same pack-in game that you'll get anywhere else (Marvel UA and Forza 2). From my experience, Costco bundles use pretty old systems... when I bought mine in June of this year, it had a manufacture date of June 06. A friend of mine down in LA bought one shortly after me, and theirs was August 06.

I was at Costco tonight, and Marvel/Forza are the games included with the system.

Yea, I am looking for a Falcon equipped Elite to replace my day 1 360 (still kicking with no hiccups KNOCK ON F'ing WOOD) and finally got a good guide posted since the lot numbers aren't enough to guarantee one.

Same here, was at Costco and the game was bundle on outside of the system. Couldn't even tell if there were HDMI systems either, don't think they were though, since it didn't say so on the side of the system like it did on ones at BB. Nice return policy, but I rather not have to even have to return a system.

i heard about Costco's return policy being good. how did it work again?

hmm, looks like they changed their reutrn policy. as usual, idiots abused it and spoiled a good thing. (remember when EB used to let you return opened games for full credit within a certain time period?)

...that they were going to be adjusting the policy to a 90-day electronics returns policy on D24 categories (their categories) televisions, computers, cameras, camcorders, iPod/MP3 players, and cellular phones. This only applies to purchases made after the roll out date (explained below)... (March, 2007)

ive asked several cashiers/managers ect. and they all say that the console can be returned within reason. this varied from 6 months to a year depending on who i asked. so basically as long as you have a good excuse and they dont see you abusing the return policy on your purchase history you should be fine.

i just bought mine a month ago and it had hdmi, im pretty sure the majority of the xboxes are hdmi, the writing was kinda hard to find on the box that said hdmi.

im still waiting for mine to get elites in stock so i can return my premium for one... hoping for a quieter dvd drive. mine is driving me up the wall! anyone have a costco around them with elite bundles?

Bought mine on Saturday, came with an extra controller, a battery and charger thingy (not the dual stand alone charger). And Forza 2 and UA. For 399.99. It was an HDMI but not the 65 and falcon model. Had a MFG date of Aug 07. Their warranty does cover game console so you should be able to return it, if it breaks. That's what the customer service rep said.
I believe lot #734 and beyond have the falcon. If Costco gets any additional shipments of the bundle in Dec. they will likely be the later lot numbers.
Random chance. Some 741s are supposed to be Zephyrs even.

Costco does not do exchanges, only complete refunds. Meaning, if you don't have all of the stuff that originally came in the box (including the controllers, bundle games, etc.) you can't get a refund.

That's why I posted the guide link. Lot numbers are insufficient as they are trickling out old MoBos in new lots.

Sorry it took so long to reply. Yes, as someone already answered, the bundle game pack includes Forza and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I've been waiting around to increase my chances of getting a Falcon-based model but now that Mass Effect's out, I may end up pulling the trigger.
