Could someone help me ID 2 games?

First off I want to say Thank You to this forum for giving me the inspiration and information about the sale at Target this weekend. I got a new slim line PS2. Man my fat PS2 was soo big compared to this one. The only thing I miss is the sliding disc tray but it's all good. For my first 2 games I bought Black and Fight Night Round 2.

But I am trying to remember 2 games that the wife and I played together and used to love. Sorry for the sketchy description but here goes

The first one I can't recall much about except that it was an updated version of Space Invaders new graphis etc. Sorry that's all I can recall.


The 2nd was sort of like a wrestling game with all of these 1950's movie monsters fighting each other in and around a city.


The wife just informed me that I need to be on the lookout for Fantavision as well ugh! The downside of the PS2 but what we do for love.

The 2nd one is definitely War of the Monsters, and the first one sounds like Space Raiders, but I'm pretty certain that was Gamecube exclusive.
 
There was a remake of Space Invaders called Space Invaders '95. It had some anime-style, very cartoony graphics. There were multiple characters to choose from, boss battles, etc.
