Hi

I saw a Xbox 360 Live Deal ( 4 mo + 400pts = $15 ) from BB and my doubt was about the Live Subscription.

My live is paid until jan 2014, what would happen with the next generation Xbox One and Live with subscription? I saw CAGers buying 2, 3, years worth in Live cards. Will be wasted?

After a little research I found information about MS Live Points. They won't be used anymore, they will use normal Currency like PSN.

Any information about the Live Subscription?

thanks in advance

My guess would be your gamertag or microsoft account will be used for the xbox one.  I'm gonna be cynical and say that the xbox one live subscription will be separate from the 360.

According to Microsoft's Phil Harrison, you'll be able to use your existing Xbox Live sub on both the 360 and the One

There's a story on Polygon about it, but I can't post links >.>

EDIT: I'll do it this way...

I am pretty sure the current LIVE Account will go over to ONE.  Maybe MS will be smart and be like PS and offer some sort of tier systems to be like Plus on PS.  Or partner with Hulu\Netflix and offer subscription as ONE so I don't have to pay services separately.  We will see.

My question is what happens to Family Gold accounts? Will we get more than one year credit per year remaining? Also, will the new scheme - only one Live account needed for everyone using the console - be retrofitted onto the 360?
