I don't believe it... Mario Mix going for $70-100 on eBay. I knew I should've picked this up when CC had that Mario Mix + Pad for $50 and extra pad for $10 more. So much for hoping it'd drop in price due to lack of sales.
 
Already? It's still all over the place in my town. Maybe I need to go ahead and pick it up or, as the saying goes, "regret it later." :/
 
Its been discontinued.. the news just hit ebay obviously.. give it a few days and itll tank.

I agree, it's probably just a spike. All the people hoping it gets really rare, I suppose.

I really dont know if thats official, there have been numerous reports about selling poorly or problem with the pads. Though if you see it, it might be worth buying.
 
Personally, I think it's so popular because it was on this year's kids' 5 favorite video games list from [insert TV channel/magazine/independent organization here]. Parents probably saw that list aand figured it'd be a good match for their hyperactive ADD kids.

I can confirm that there is indeed a problem with some (if not all) the mats. I spoke to Nintendo reps about my mat, and they said there was a manufacturing problem. After playing the game, I put my mat under my bed, to keep them clean and flat and out of the way. So, I shut the Cube off, unplug the mat, and if I touch the black box at the top of the mat, it shocks me. The shock is pretty good...so it could definitely hurt a child. I have to call again to see what they are going to do about mine...I don't know if they will replace it, or what...

Wow. I think it's pretty good then that nobody around here seems to be interested in picking them up from EB and GameStop since they both have around three to four copies apiece out in front, last I checked. Really odd since DDR is quite popular around here and I would expect Mario Mix to be flat-out gone.

Yeah, I finally just played it last night when some friends were over. It's certainly easy, but Nintendo's good at making those games that are inherently fun with other people.
