The game has YouTube and Facebook video uploading. PS Move support is there. Song list is kind of small, only around 50+ songs (since its the same as the Wii version...will never have tons of songs due to cost of licensing music). Downloadable songs in the future.

A partial songlist is here:

Eh, I've been playing DDR for years but I'm not liking this song list. I miss the PS2/Xbox era when they'd have the normal PS2 releases and the Ultramix games with different soundtracks. Also, since I already have pads for all of the other consoles I'm not about to buy another one for the PS3.

I heard the paper pad is awful and the song list is horrendous. I used to be crazy about DDR but you might as well play an already perfect game in its older iterations instead of shelling out money for HD arrows and pop music.

That sure was a silent release, oh well. Just looking at the cover I am sure this game wont be as good as the original DDR Max series.
Wait, this is out? Seriously?

There is only one important thing that needs mentioning: how is the pad?
You mean TWO important things, the other being: how well does the pad work with BC PS3's? Yes DDR will work on the BC PS3's, at least the hardware one's. I'm not sure about the software one on the other hand. The only issue was the pad connector.

I heard there was an announcement coming, saw the PS Blog post back in August. I just waited for its release since.

Eh, lets just say I've pretty much have played every DDR (so I don't care about shelling out for new DDRs since I pretty much complete all except for not playing DDR X2 (kind of the same as Hottest Party 3 anyway)), and as long as theirs a new tracklist, I'm buying. DDR is one of those games I don't playing each song at least once. Every DDR still has at least a few songs I love, including this one. Its pretty much the same as the Wii DDR games though.

However, there IS DLC music coming. If it has some of the classics, this will turn into my favorite DDR, but we'll see where it goes. Hooking my PS2 up to an HDTV is ugly, and my original Xbox has been left at my parents house 500+ miles away.

I didn't care if they were just ports on another console, just wanted DDR on PS3 (gives me a trophy boost). I could have bought this game on Wii (has the same tracklist) since I already have three Wii DDR games, but I opted for PS3 in a heartbeat.

I kind of miss those old days with the DDR tracklist, because I use to buy DDR on PS2 and Xbox every year.

However, my Wii, 360, and PS3 don't have a nice dance pad for them yet. I hope there is good DLC or DDR continues on PS3, since I'll invest in a PS3/Wii pad.

I'll admit the PS Move stuff is hard. I just stick to regular dancing. I do think the tracklist is on par with DDR Hottest Party 2 (not as good as 3 for sure), and definitely better than DDR Universe 3 (worst tracklist ever IMO).

However, YouTube/Facebook video uploading is exactly what I wanted in DDR for YEARS. You bet I want to show off to my friends.

Wow, that box looks shitty.

My interest in picking up DDR home games waned after Extreme 2 for PS2. And since it's been a while, I'd be more than happy to pick up a new iteration...but that song list does not look good. Maybe a bargain bin purchase for me.

Then again, the neighbors below me prolly wouldn't like me owning a DDR game.
