DDR Songs

ElfAngel7

CAGiversary!
What are your favorite DDR songs? I personally can't get enough of A (though it's technically a Beatmania song), Sakura, and Breakdown
I forget the name of the song. I know is on DDR for the ps2 and it chorus goes 'boom boom boom boom'.
Does it go "Boom boom boom boom, I want you in my room, We'll spend the night together, from now until forever..." ???

Boom Boom Dollar.

Not sure I understand the lyrics, or that there's anything to understand, but here goes: (from rpgamers.net - don't laugh at me if it's not right)

It's thriller, darling
You're a wonderful lover, baby
(Ay, iyaiyaiyai)
July, December
Always deep inside of my mind
Tell me why (Ay, iyaiyai)

You keep a pocketful of green green dollars
I love you though it's the time
You're very hard
You sound like a young fella
Take me on the night

Boom boom boom boom
Shoot you like a bambar
Boom boom boom boom
At your order
Boom boom boom boom
Pushing all the buttons
More time

Don't like a tango
Dancin' your fandango tonight, baby
(Ay, iyaiyaiyai)
We'll meet tomorrow
Boom boom never slows for you, baby
(Ay, iyaiyaiyai)

You pretty doll you like me like tha dollars
Oh baby this is the time
So you can buy the world like Rockefella'
Dance with me tonight

Boom boom boom boom
Shoot you like a bambar
Boom boom boom boom
At your order
Boom boom boom boom
Pushing all the buttons
More time

Boom boom boom boom
Shoot you like a bambar
Boom boom boom boom
At your order
Boom boom boom boom
Pushing all the buttons
More time

Boom boom boom boom
(Ay, iyaiyaiyai)
Boom boom boom boom
(Ay, iyaiyaiyai)
Boom boom boom boom
Pushing all the buttons
More time

Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom!

Gotta love how DDR gets you to like music you'd normally never want any part of :p

One of my recent favorites is "Dream A Dream" from Max 2

*shoots self*

Freezepop in DDR? Woo!
Well, then again, it's probably not. :(

Sakura's one of my favorites too.

Deadzone, did you get a normal pad w/ it or did you get the redoctane pad? B/c trust me, the RedOctane pad makes playing a whole lot easier (I.E. having cartilidge in your knees after an extended DDR session)

.59, Let's Groove, and Long Train Runnin.

As for pads, I reccommend the 2.1 s at www.levelsix.com. No difference between the 3.1s, unless you're picky about artwork (the two back diagonals *are* functional). When I compared side-by-side to a red octane ignition, noticed no real difference, with the exception that the RO I had cost $60 more, the buttons weren't reinforced, and it didn't have the back diagonals. >.>

The hard foam helps a ton, too.
x0thedeadzone0: I got THIS pad: (well, this combo package)

ah, good choice. I got my RedOctane knockoff and i love it. I now don't have agonizing knee pains after every DDR session.
Why thank you. I like the foam inserts, guaranteed to keep your feet cushiony and comfy while you DDR your brain cells and calories away.

In DDRMAX2, there's a sweet sounding remix of Midnight Blaze if you go to "Information" from the main menu. It's the background music. Does anyone know if this song has been in a US release???

Woa where did you get that link from? They have 3rd Party VGA adapters for the Dreamcast!

EDIT: Not sure if this is legit thought. Check out the description they have for the VGA adapter:

Description: This Dreamcast 4x memory has 800 blocks of memory; 4 times more than a regular VMU. Allows you to save huge amounts of game data, which is ideal for busy gamers and vast adventure titles.

i have bought this pad 2 weeks ago and i bought (ddr max, max2 and the songs in there are great!) i love it http://www.keepgaming.com/ddr/505-01054-de-pad.htm which is suppose to be the same as redoctanes dense foam. i think redoctane sells their pads more expensive because all they have is the name redoctane on it.. i mean why pay more when you can buy the same thing for cheap

i could use the extra money for ......

My favorite DDR song is "Please Nick Not So Quick" from I think Fourth mix, but could be third. I have a very tightly wound friend named Nick, and he actually blushes if I sing it to him while dancing.

Butterfly, Mr. Wonderful, Operator, Captain Jack (Grandale Mix), Turn Me On (Heavenly Mix), Cat's Eye, Petit Love, Shooting Star, Bumble Bee, Never Gonna Make, Tribal Dance (Almighty Mix), Can't Stop Fallin In Love (Speed Mix), Moonlight Shadow, Petit Love, www.Blondegirl, Do You Remember Me, My Sweet Darlin, Cowgirl, Firefly, True (Radio Edit), Nothing Gonna Stop (Dance Mania Mix), D2R, Living In America, Destiny, Speed Over Bethoven, Love 2 Sugar, Love Love Shine, Drill Instructor (C-Jah Mix), Kiss Me (KCP Remix), Bag, Maxx Unlimited, Senorita (Speedy Mix), Breakdown!, Candy Star, Candy Heart...I could list more but I think that's enough

And in case anyone didn't realize it after reading that list, 90% of the music I listen to is DDR music and songs from music artists that have their songs in DDR (like Captain Jack, Smile.dk, Jenny Rom etc.)

Well, Yoshifan definitely named a lot of my favorites! Songs such as A, BreakDown!, Xenon, and Drop Out are hovering around the top of my list at the moment. I also like most songs by Naoki (incl. his 'alter-egos') and DJ Taka.

There's just such a variety of awesome songs throughout the different mixes, it's impossible to firmly decide on one favorite. There's just too many to like! :)

Edit: Oh, and there's no Vengaboys "Boom Boom Boom Boom" song, thank god. :p

You can find it in both the Max (6th Mix) and Max 2 (7th mix) arcades. I believe it was released on Disney Mix for Playstation. Not the remix, just the regular version of the song. Don't think the remix was ever released on any of the games, but I'm not positive.

I like Bre∀kdown and Hysteria, but my favorite has got to be the Kind Lady remix on DDR MAX2. BTW, are we talking favorite song musically or funnest to play? I mean funnest to play.
