Saw this on Slickdeals.com and surprised not to see it on CAG.

Half off sales are usually nothing great from B&N, but there are some great deals on Disney combo packs.

I got Sword in the Stone, Robin Hood, Ratatouille, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Little Nemo Adventures in Slumberland all for about $70.

They've also got "the biggies" on Blu Ray 3-D, such as Toy Story 1-3, Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Wreck-It Ralph (highly recommended), and Brave for $24.99 each. While that hardly sounds like a bargain, they hardly ever go on sale, and it's among the cheapest I've seen them.

It was discussed in the 3D movie thread, since a new release (Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2) was a little less than $19 with the sale and a 20% off coupon, though not beyond that.

The sale was until end of the day on Monday, so it's dead now and the thread marked as such.

Just as well. Got Brave and Nightmare Before Christmas. Thought about getting Finding Nemo and the first two Toy Storys, but decided an extra $75 would be too much (especially since I have all three on DVD), given I've already spent $50, plus I'll be spending another $30 on Game of Thrones S. 3. Had this sale lasted longer, I'd have talked myself into it.

I bought the Toy Story 3D trilogy for 40. Would like to have picked up the Harry Potter Wizards Collection for 200 but still too rich for my blood.

Just received two movies, exactly one week after I order them. One is fine, the other has a broken case and loose disc. I suppose that isn't B and N's fault, it could happen anywhere, but it still sucks when it does.
