[DEAD] Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten Premium Edition $39.90 at Amazon

wow, I was tempted to purchase that ultimate edition for $100+ on launch off their website. Glad I didn't. I probably not going to bite on this either.
 
now the question is... bite on this and keep the ultimate sealed, or hope this drops even more. Not sure how many they have and if they will be running out
 
does the premium edition come with a soundtrack?

Edit: nvm, it doesnt. I'll wait for an eventual price drop on this one. The figurine and artbook isn't enough for me to buy a collector's edition at this price. Thanks anyway OP!
 
$40's the cheapest I've seen the premium or regular, so you might as well get the premium since it's cheaper. Figure's ok, "artbook" is just a pamphlet.
 
Best Disgaea game since the first one. I was really dissapointed by part 3, but I'm loving this one. Only Skyrim and Dark Souls have kept me from playing this nonstop.
 
Good deal, but with so much stock, I'm waiting to see if it'd drop to $30 or even $20 during BF.. last year, we had tones of great deals, let hope we get the same this year!

The soundtrack CD is an exclusive bonus for ordering the premium edition at NISA store (regular price though).

I also got mine + bonus CD for $60 on day 1 from NISA store :whistle2:( At least I got a Flonne DLC free with it :)

So you're not going to buy Atelier Meruru Premium box at launch? ;)

I'm pretty sure NISA will have an exclusive bonus for their own store and we would all be suckers in pre-ordering it, and then crying no more day 1 purchase later :whistle2:#

Well I guess I didn't get burned on Neptunia or on either Atelier game thus far.... And it looks like AR Tonelico will end up not being one I get burned on either.

I just have a sour taste in my mouth cuz of inFamous 2's Hero edition (I paid MSRP :bomb:) and more so from Killzone 3's Helghast (I got that one when it price dropped, then it proceeded to drop even more :bomb::bomb:).

In short I might have to backtrack a bit and say I will be way more careful with pre-ordering PS3 exclusive CE's from now on.

Yeah, I'd generally preorder premium boxed games from NISA store directly because of free shipping and TLC in packing. Their premium boxes would usually not last long enough for a drastic price drop. I'd pay up the list price now rather than not be able to find a mint new copy later.

Sony's own CEs are the real problem. They are mass produced and you can find them cheap months later. The only exception I can think of is God of War Ultimate Edition and LBP2 CE but they could still be found in small quantity if you looked hard enough. It would be interesting to see how Uncharted 3 CE would go.

Thanks for the info... I may just see if anyone around is willing to sell the soundtrack by itself, or pick up a copy of it on ebay later on.
 
damnit, this didn't last through the whole day? i was gonna get one of these to keep my ultra premium edition sealed, but I dont see them anymore =( Guess i shoulda jumped on it last night. That really sucks
