Deals for Settlers of Catan?

Hello,

Anyone know of any deals for the board game Settlers of Catan, and it's expansion, Cities & Knights? I've been playing it online and want to get the actual board game to play with friends.

I just missed out on amazon's sale for $20 for Catan, though... I'd really like to get these, but I don't want to spend $65-70 for both.

I don't have a deal on it, but I just wanted to say that it's an amazing board game and it's tons of fun. I've seen it for 30 at specialty game shops. I think they carry it in some Barnes and Nobles as well.

I got the game from amazon. It looks to be something that keeps its value even used. I recommend you just put a little aside until you can buy one of the FULL Catan sets going about for $150 or so.

The original set was on clearance on the tru website the last I looked (before the new year).I'm too lazy to look now.

It was actually a Gold Box deal at Amazon for $15 a couple weeks ago. (It was $20 before and after that.)

Svenrulerofall, what other board games would you recommend? I'm on the lookout for a few more games to play when my family visits. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. We tend to prefer the games where luck plays a lesser role.
