anyone got a deal on cd-rs that are cheap 50pk or 100pk, that will work on the xbox(samsung drive)?

the ones i got dont work on it:
verbatim 80 min 700mb green bottom
sony 80min 700mb colored tops
memorex 80min 700mb cool colors

i have never tried them personally but hearing from buncha reviews and ppl on here they seem to be the best. i need to buy some cuz the memorex ones i got have been failing on me, i dont know if its my burner or the disc, but most likely the disc. the dvd movies are fine until the end of the movie it freezes a lot and messes up, hopefully riteks dont do this. so i'ma take a chance with them. i have a phillips dvd+rw SDVD6004.

RIDATA 4X DVD+R 4.7GB, Model DRD+474-RDCB100, OEM $43

RIDATA 8X DVD+R 4.7G 100 Pack Cakebox, Model DRD+478-RDCB100 $36 w/$10 rebate

which it better?

I went to CC today, and got 100 memorx CD-R's for 10 bucks. They have a 50 pack for 9.99 and use the BOGO free coupon they have in ad.

got my ridata dvd+r's today from newegg and they are the best ones i've ever used. after 10 coasters in a row with memorex i had to change the brand i used. i burnt 2 dvd's today and both worked perfect.

What burner are you using?
Ive only had problems with one kind of DVD+r on my HP burner, that was "Digital Matrix" or something like that.

i have a philips SDVD6004 that came with a dell ispiron 8500, i heard that it is a very bad burner and i'm trying to get a new one under warranty. it only burns the disc at 2.4x

at first the old memorex disc they had burned pretty good maybe 75% no failure but the ones i got now had a lot of failures. they movie plays fine until the very end then the frames skip and pixelize and freezes. this is from playing on my xbox(samsung) at first i thought it was my burner, but then i read that faq i posted and they are supposedly cheaply made bad quality discs. the ridata ones are great after i'm done with 100 discs i'ma have to order more, i purchased the ones for 43$ shipped(100 pk) which is worth every penny for its quality. the memorex ones i got for 40$ for 50 pack which i now regret. so far i burned 5 disc no problem. before i had to burn a memorex disc turn off my laptop wait for it to cool down and then burn another disc i think they messed up under the heat, but i tried to burn a ridata one just to see if it can stand the heat and it did just fine. quality and quantity. hopefully those sonic ones wont be bad for u levi333, but if u have any problems like me ridata are highly recommended. i was skeptical when i bought the 100 pk, but now i'm sold to the brand.

also from another thread at Circuit City get the memorex cd-rs 50pk on sale til 11/24 for 9.99$ originally 19.99$, buy one get one free with the CC holiday catalog coupon, so 100 pk for 11$, i dont think cd-rs have any problems no matter how cheap or what brand they are

Just got my Sonic DVD+Rs, burnt 2 and they both work perfectly.
23 shipped, and they threw in a 4 pack of markers for writing on DVDs/CDs.
Not too shabby if i do say so myself.
