Deals on XP Notebooks?

Has anybody seen any deals instore or online for Notebooks with XP on them? I need to get a laptop stat but I don't really want to get Vista just yet so I can still run all my current programs. Could anybody help me out? Thanks

Well I'm going to use it for college, and basically use it for everything.
I want to try and find a Core 2 Duo, 1GB ram, a Dvd burner drive, and support for wireless/ethernet.
My budget is around $1000
 
You probably should have bought one before Vista came out cause most places aren't selling any XP systems anymore, I think some store actually sent them back to the manufacturers. Office Depot clearanced out all their XP notebooks the week before Vista came and there were some pretty good deals to be had, you might want to them out to see if they still have them available.
