decent + cheap rock band guitar

Been a while since i've played rock band or guitar hero but itching to get back into it. I never had my own guitar , always borrowed my room mates, and I don't have access to it anymore. I still have rock band 1 and 2
(games only) , and looking to get guitar hero 5 maybe.

Anyone know of a decent guitar? Not looking to spend 80 bucks on one so hoping you guys know of a decent deal.
 
Don't know of any specific deal, but you should be able to find a Xplorer cheap, if nothing else. My advice, don't buy used and for all that is holy, don't buy a Les Paul. My personal favorite (and I have 6, I believe) is still the strat 1. The Höfner bass is nice but, unsurprisingly, the shape just feels off. I'd go strat 1 or 2 if you can find one in your price range.
 
Check your local Targets. They may still have some Les Paul's or the RB2 strats on clearance. I got a Les Paul for $14.98 a few weeks ago.
