i def. looking to get this once it drops to around 20 or so. i only ever played the first one way back when (2001? maybe 2002) but i really liked it. everyone always says 1 and 3 are great but 2 is just plain awful. for those of you who have played them, why is 2 considered so inferior?

Really excited for this gives me a reason to finish DMC 2

Ironically, two is the only one I've never played, so I would like to know this as well.

Repetitive enemies its like the same 3 over and over, no dialouge from dante and weapons sucked.

1 and 3 are considered the best of the series if you liked 2 you'll probably like the others

I am curious to see how well #1 holds up. I haven't played it many a year. I know #3 still kicks ass as I still like to pop in the SE from time to time.

the games 8 ish years old and you have to know NOW as to why dmc2 sucks
