Devil Summoner

Got it but haven't played it yet. They're supposedly releasing it here on the PS2 but do you want to pay $20 more for the game? Yeah they're going to charge $60 for the AMERICAN version on the PS2.

Those are two different games. The PSP game is a remake of a Devil Summoner game on the Sega Saturn. The PS2 game is a completely new Devil Summoner game.

FWIW, I heard that the PSP Devil Summoner game is pretty shitty... it's the first person type of SMT game which means that it's repetitive as hell and not particualrly entertaining.

The Devil Summoner game on the PS2 is completely different though as jfunkdpg pointed out. The Devil Summoner game on the PS2 is far more of an action game than SMT games have been in the past. Looks like it could be really cool... and I think it was supposed to come out in the US this year.

Sorry I just thought Atlus was trying to fuck us over and do a reverse GTA LCS thing. So you mean "Soul Hackers" then?

the name is actually Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2- Soul Hackers, the sequal to the psp game. It is actually a great game. The first Devil Summoner isnt that bad, but it is so dated it is not as easy to get into as the later SMT games.
