Did Blockbuster online send me the wrong movie ??

Invader Zim, Vol. 3: Horrible Holiday Cheer - Disc 1 (2004

on the disc it says DISC 5 ?

all i can figure out is either they sent the wrong disc Or this is the 5th disc in the whole set (what is probally what it is)

also says run time 3 hours 45 mins

but on the sleve it shows little under 2 hours ?

Its the right disc.

Disk set 1 - disks 1&2
Disk set 2 - disks 3&4
Disk set 3 - disks 5&6

Also, Civx, i dont always agree with sc, but when he has an actual question either answer it or leave it alone

They do send the wrong ones quite regulerly though. 3 times I got the extras disk instead of the movie during my free trial. Definetly not signing up for that. Anyway Blockbuster is the definiton of an evil monopoly in my opinion.

How is Blockbuster anywhere near a monopoly? I've never once rented from them, and neither have any of my friends (except for the one that works there).

well if they would run a business like they should.

A: ship movies out the same day they get them back
B: Stop changing the place where your movies come from ****
C: List the movies better (zim should been listed DISC 5 not Disc 1, the movie PHONE should been told the movie is not in English)
D: get times down faster. I mean if NEtflix can do 1-2 days BB should be able to do it too.

**** everytime they change the center where my movies come from im told allow 1-2 days more then the last place they were shipping them from.. What is werid

Came from Lansing mich 2-3 days
then moved Start feb - Feb 25 St louis missiori 3-4 days
Then Now moved to Chicago ILL time ???

only been with them 2 months and been moved to 3 different centers

ALSO what is cheap DUBBING a movie or Just putting words over the movie what you got to read

If they would get their shipping times down to a set time (2 days each way, and few other things Like shipping movies the same day they get them back) then i wont complain as much.

Then again I complain about AOL for 2 years before i left them so this might be a long LONG complain topics :)

Hollywood video is being taken over by blockbuster (I can give some links if you need them). Plus I've seen locally 3 different chain stores shut down, or be boughten outright by Blockbuster. That's what I mean. Anyway name a national chain where you can rent movies that's not a grocery store, or online. And not Hollywood since they are being slowly taken over by blokbuster and are likely to be owned by them very soon.

Last I heard is they tried, but Hollywood is sticking with Movie Gallery to take them over (Hollywood figuring a BB buyout wouldnt be approved)

Very convincing arguemnet though in the links above. With their debt, and the "they might already own 51 percent" line. Your area is probably different from mine, in my area of Texas Albertsons, a Mom and Pop Video, and Blockbuster is it. Video Stop was here a number of years ago but Bluckbuster got em to shut down all but one location, and that's in Dallas. That's all there were the last time I checked at least. Anyway my main point is i've seen way to many video places bought and closed, or driven out of business by Blockbuster. I've lived here in the Dallas area, Omaha, 4 different places in the new england area, New York, LA, and Phoenix(Military brat=reason). All places I've seen Blockbuster's hand at work.
 
"Blockbuster is evil, Walmart is evil, blah blah blah." If you don't like it, don't spend your money at these places. Personally, other then variety on certain things, I have no problem with Blockbuster. They gave me a higher trade-in value for some games the other day and the ones I go to have a good variety most of the time on the pre-owned movies (2 for $20 is great). Hell, most of the ones around me have new copies of Castlevania SOTN GH for 9.99. Are there Blockbuster stores everywhere? Yes, but I also have Movie Gallery, Premiere Video, Hollywood Video, and other stores to choose from if I don't want to give "Cocksucker Video" my business. (I just call them that cause I can.)

Hmm well if Blockbuster buys Hollywood that will put them a lot closer to what I'd consider a monopoly. Although I don't know if any store could ever really be a monopoly on DVD rentals. There are non-chain rental places all over.

Yeah but in a lot of areas the non-chain stores are dying or dead. Unless they are into the independent, artsy, foreign, or xrated movies.
 
For some Werid reason they Are sending out the Movie again. ALSO not to make a new topic but I STill dont have my e coupons for march.

By the end of this month im sure 90% of the workers at BBO phone number will know me by name :)

Going to call them up today and ask again where are my E COUPONS been a week since it renewed and still no coupons
 
You have to print your E coupons yourself.

I repeat for the last time - Netflix is worth the extra $3. I tried BBO and had just as many problems as you did. I had more problems in 2 weeks with BBO than in my almost 4 years of Netflix.

No , i already know how to print the e coupons. I just got off the phone with BBO and they fed me a bunch of bull. Account from the 23 to the end of the month Did not get e Coupons cause they got a problem sending them out.

If your account is from the 23-31 of the month you didnt get e coupons they hope to have the problem fixxed by March 7. NO lost time will be refunded (meaning that you lost 1-2 weeks from using these coupons)

what even more sucks is i called them 3 weeks ago and complain about the shipping taking a day from the time they get them and they said they knock 5 bucks off my bill. Well i got my CC from that time and the Bill says 15.86 (after tax) I called back up and they give me the run around about there is no one who said that .

ALso love what they told me...

If there is a movie that you want and it moves From NOW To short wait and you take that movie off your list or Move that movie down in your List you will lose your spot to get that movie.

im gone come march 28 unless some major movies come out in April. I will try netflix (can get 6 weeks for 15.99 ) at Best buy

That sucks it should send out the next available automatically like Netflix, or WalMart.

A year or so ago, BBO started a online rental company called Film Caddy.com I did there trial and it sucked to. I would of thought they would of learned from there mistakes.
 
well now im really PO at BBO they aent me my 5th movie in my line up even though MOvie 2 and 3 were ready to go NOW. Please hold going to call

They can send you any movie in the list that they want to . If they dont think a movie that you got on your list higher up can make it to you in 3 days they will skip that movie even if its in.

Going to be interesting to see cause they said they will give me another 5 bucks credit (cough cough just like last time and nothing happened)

MVP program sort of got better here locally. There are no return dates now. What is werid though They mostly only take the DVDS To mvp and sell off the VHS.

I just got the AVP Aliens vs preditor movie on VHS at hollywood video for 4 bucks to keep

so they might be clearing out the whole VHS format. I hope i can pick up SAW for 4 bucks in a few week

and i still dont have my FREAKING E COUPONS even though on friday they said they would be here by monday at the latest

well Called today and Still no E coupons and they have no Idea when they will come or if they will come at all this month. Big woop they took 5 bucks off my bill i would rather have the E coupons then 5 bucks.


interesting thing i heard from the person i talked to that THEY MIGHT BE DROPPING E COUPONS FOR INSTORE RETURNS In MAY???

or there just might be an outside problem with the E COUPONS

i was with hollywood MVP Dec 9 2004 to Jan 9 2005 and wasnt worth the cash. The new movies take at least 6 weeks to move to MVP and i was able to grab everything i wanted to watch within 30 days that was in the MVP group.

I will probally go to netflix soon But right now Netflix is almost double in what im paying BBO. With discounts Im only paying 9.95 per month for BBO while Netflix would run me 17.99

Yes, stop bitching about BBonline. If you don't like them move on and stop bitching about every single little thing. The fact that you call them every damn day shows that you need to stop being so anal about the situation.

Yeah, BBO has problems but they are little annoyances most of the time. For the price and the coupons BBO is the best.

i think you got it reverse cause that is how the people on the phone acted. when i called them up on the 5th they said FOR A FACT that i would have the E COUPONS By the 7th They said I Would have them and i could count on them being there. When i called back the 8th They go UMMMM we didnt even know we had a problem with the e coupons till they asked someone and they said 2 more days ..... Maybe if they got people who knew how to work they wouldnt have problems .

Werid how people allow them to take all the tiem they want in sending movies out Yet the last few weeks i never had the 1 day delay after complain about the Time delays
