Ok something came over me and I went on a CRAZY buying spree the first two months of this year, and plan to cool it down now. My question is have I done good and lived up to the CAG name. Here are all the games I've gotten this year with a total at the bottom.
Eternal Darkness :Sanitys Requeim
JSRF/Sega GT Bundle
Kingdom Under Fire:Crusaders
MVP Baseball 2005 (Xbox)
Max Payne (Xbox)
Max Payne 2 (Xbox)
Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes
Otogi
Otogi 2
Outrun 2
Resident Evil 4
Second Sight
Star Wars Rogue Squadron: Rogue Leader II
Time Splitters 2
Resident Evil (REmake)
Top Spin
Viewtiful Joe
WarioWare Inc.:Mega Party Games
World Championship Poker

This is a spree for me because prior to this I only had about 35 games. Okay so here's the total amount I spent, without using any store credit on anything. $198.25 or so. However two of these games I've paid for but haven't recieved. So as long as they come I think I did pretty good, no it's time to stay in my room for a couple of years and play these. Thanks to all CAGers who helped me get cheap games and find the ones I was looking for!
you paid too much.
This is not sarcasim
Hogwash! That's an average of less than $10 per game and there's not a stinker in the bunch in my opinion with the possible exception of the poker game (and I only say that cause I am not into poker). Add to that at least 3 of those games were released relatively recently and RE 4 is a $50 title.

I say nice job!

I'd say you did a good job

These are just my estimates based on the cheapest I could find the games in the past 3 months

Eternal Darkness :Sanitys Requeim 10
JSRF/Sega GT Bundle 6
Kingdom Under Fire:Crusaders 15
MVP Baseball 2005 (Xbox) 30
Max Payne (Xbox) 7
Max Payne 2 (Xbox) 10
Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes 15
Otogi 10
Otogi 2 15
Outrun 2 15
Resident Evil 4 40
Second Sight 15
Star Wars Rogue Squadron: Rogue Leader II 5?
Time Splitters 2 10
Resident Evil (REmake) 15
Top Spin 15
Viewtiful Joe 12
WarioWare Inc.:Mega Party Games 15
World Championship Poker 12

and since you're well below that total you made out really well

Ok I was going to say I don't know what that guy was talking about that I spent too much! I knew it was probably average, but too much just seemed ridiculous. I got most of these games from CAGs, and the others from friends, also I got a GREAT deal on RE4, came to about $20.

Yeah, you definitely got out for less than average. The RE4 deal helped a bunch, since most of the others are $5-$15 games.

why do people keep starting these threads? if you wanted the games and you got them for what they were selling at, at the time, then its probably a good deal.

I totally disagree. There have been countless times where I paid full price for a game only for it to be marked down sometime down the line (sometimes less than 2weeks later!)

There's nothing wrong with someone putting up a list of their 'grabs' to be critiqued. A big idea of the community here is to educate your fellow CAGs. Threads like these do nothing but serve that goal.

Exactly, and I like to read the opinions of others, most of Crakas posts are very bad, and it's not a good deal if you get a game for the price its selling at, it might be a good deal if you get it for CHEAPER than it's selling. Isn't that what a board and CAG are for? It's okay Craka we still love you.

Under $10 per game is good in my book. Couple that with having at least two very recent games (RE4 and MVP 2005) in the line up and it looks even better.

I'd sell off RE4 soon (if that's your thing) Recent games can drop in value quick.

My average (for every single Xbox game I've bought) is just a hair under $9. I have a spreadsheet with all of that info detailed [dork alert]

You did pretty good, I added up the prices that I could easily get each game for and my total came slightly over yours.

I've paid about $9 average this year and about $8 average overall for games, so yours is about the same.

That spreadsheet is a pretty good idea, I should do that because I got a SHITload of GREAT games for basically nothing when I got my Xbox. My local Gamers gives crazy credit for some games, or atleast they used to.
