Did USPS lose my package from EB?

My order, DOAU was shipped via USPS media mail on 4/08. I still haven't recieved the package yet. Usaually I get my order within 4-5 days, it's atlready been 10 business days (counting Sat). Worst yet, when I track my order with the provided tracking number, it says that no information exists for this item. When I called EB, the lady told me to wait till the end of the week, then to call back if it doesn't arrive. How reassuring.

I know USPS is sometimes slow on updating stuff, but its been 12 frigging days! What do you guys think is going on? If my package is indeed lost, will EB give me a refund? Any info is appreciated, thanks.
 
It's probably just a little late. Media mail routinely takes over 2 weeks for delivery. I've had widely varying shipping times from place to place with media mail. I wouldn't worry about it unless it goes longer than 2 weeks, and I wouldn't freak out about it unless it's been a month. I've had things take that long.
 
Media mail takes 2-19 days... Thats the official range, IIRC. After that, call EB. I do believe they can say tough shit, we did send it.
 
I'd be pretty surprised if EB told you tough shit.

You should be in good shape since there is a tracking # that shows it hasn't been delivered. Calling them now was good. I'd do as they suggest and wait until the end of the week and call them back. Tell them you called earlier and was told to wait until now to call again. At that point I'd want a definite time frame as to when they'll be refunding or shipping a replacement. (If it's not going to be right then.)

Mail can get redirected and take a while to get to the destination, so it's very possible it will show up. EB probably just has a wait period for this kind of thing.

Did you pay with a credit card or with EB gift codes, EB credit, etc? If you paid with a credit card you have absolutely nothing to worry about. The CC will give you a refund for sure, but I doubt you'll have to go there.
 
I've ordered from EB many times & got most of my packages just fine...minus ONE!

I ordered Maximio 2 & Van Helsing a little while back & they supposedly both shipped together...it took longer than usual & when the package finally arrived, lo & behold, the friggin' envelope was OPEN and missing was my Army Of Zin game.

Called them up & told them about the issue...they gave me no crap, simply got some minor information & sent me another one. I would assume if you ABUSE CS at EB they'll probably start giving U sh*t...and with good reason.
 
I've ordered a lot of games from EB. Only one packge got lost. I had a package through USPS and the tracking info stayed in PA for over 2 weeks. EB said they can either try to send it again, which I would be re-charged for the games. Or get a refund. I got the refund.

I never had any troubles with EB support, always helpful with me and their replies are very quick. At least with me.
 
I would call them back up and explain the situation to them. They will shio out another copy overnight for you if you ask for it. This has happened once to myself.
