Through Jan 3, Ubisoft is offering a couple of Uplay rewards at reduced or free points redemptions. If you're finding a difficult time earning the points you need, this could help you. Please find below the entire text of the press release. Please also note that you now MUST redeem the rewards from the browser within the game itself, so if you don't have the game (like I don't have Driver SF or Just Dance 3 :cry: ), then you're out of luck.

log in -> on the right, click on "details" under "History Transaction " -> underneath 3 boxes (Units, Actions, and Rewards) click on "Rewards" in the sentence "You can spend units and redeem Rewards"
 
Ok so I have 20 points somehow, and I'm trying to get the kinght and the free diver dlc, but I'm clickign on the crap and nothing is happening! How the hell do I add it to my cart thing?

that post above me just takes me the list page. what do i do when i'm there?

It's easier to just do it in-game. You get points for completing certain objectives in Ubisoft games, so that's probably why you have them.
 
I really don't see how some can't figure this out, I thought it was pretty self explanatory...

For example, if you wanted to get the Knight character in AC Revelations

What's very interesting about this post is that in my account, the 'Redeem Now' button doesn't appear. Everything else looks identical, I'm in the PS3 Assassin's Creed page, just no 'redeem now' button. When I submitted a request to support, they say I have to do it through the game only. Weird.

After some browsing, it seems l am only able to redeem the items from the games I have played and only for that system I played it on.

Just to double check have you played that game for the item you are trying to redeem?

You might be onto something - my game icons have a little blue controller on the ones I've played, and those do indeed have the 'Redeem Now' Option. Oh well, at least I have Assassin's Creed Revelations here so I can redeem that one. Can't get the two free ones, though.

Same with the blue icons for me on the games I played. Not really a convenient way to redeem items if you do not own the game :cry:

Yah, I'm bummed about it too. Anyone in the East Bay who wants to swap games with me, I can loan Revelations for PS3 and would like to borrow either of the other two games for a day :)
 
ah bummers. well I have AC so at least I can get that. Now comes the factor of do you need the online pass redeemed If not I'm off to Gamestop to find one unused... :D

Umm. I will check this for you tonight, give me a few hours. I am guessing you won't need the pass.

Pretty sure the online pass is for playing multiplayer and should not have anything to do with Uplay

The pass is very clearly a Uplay Online pass. I just opened my game and looked at the code. I'll try later tonight.
 
I have 300 uplay points, but all I could think to redeem right now was the free Driver dlc. But that's cool, thanks for the heads-up op.
