hey all. I hope this is the right thread.

Basically looking fo some help leveling up. reached the second to last level and its giving me a real pain. I have seen these keys to leveling up online and they are typically really complicated with chefs and all that. Also there is the few levels where you can combine a few guys and then kill them for a few levels but that seems to take forever. I am hoping for something in the middle as I have already spent several hours and am not looking forward to spending several more. Thanks for any and all help you can provide.

Chefs aren't needed in power leveling in this game, that's required in Makai Kingdom. In this game you need to capture high level Nikomata in map 4-2. Just slowly wait for them to grow in xp and then start capturing them. Rinse and repeat until they get max level. That highly unnecessary if your trying to beat the game, I believe the last boss is level 100.

I won't bother explaining the perfect weapon guide, lovers, rank 40 items, skull knights or land of carnage. I don't even remember that stuff anymore. You can go to double jump message boards or gamefaqs . I think it much easier to obtain the doublejump guide at gamestop if you want the tips for extra stuff. I think the price tag is $10 or less

Heres a very simple way to level up that doesnt take too long.

Throw monsters of the same type on top of each other, combining them into a higher level monster. Theres a map full of catgirl monsters (Nekotomas?) thats perfect for this. There are even squares all over the map that level up the monsters.

Now throw the very high level monster into your base panel. Make sure there enough characters still in there that their total combined levels are higher than the level of the monster you threw in there. Your guys should then capture the monster.

Now you can use that monster to capture even higher level monsters.

Now you can just beat the game with your team of super cat-girls, or you can use them to help level up your regular characters.

Sorry Im not more specific on the details, Its been a while since I played the game. I agree with Fatbeer that you should really get the guide to get the most out of the game.
