Do deals for Guitar Hero/Rock Band Guitars still happen?

My guitars are starting to break and I need to replace them since my 400+ Rock Band library needs them. Places like amazon charge absurd amounts of money for the standalone guitars. Do these plastic guitars ever go on sale, i'm looking to get 3 or 4 new guitars and save them down the road when its impossible to get any more.
 
Thrift stores are usually overflowing with them for cheap. Just make sure that if you get a wireless one it has the receiver.

Just seconding this, I can find them between $4-$8 for PS3/360/Wii on a pretty consistent basis at my local Goodwill.

The shape they are in is another question, but I've found many excellent ones over the course of a few months, so be sure to check out your local thrift shops.
 
Can you usually find drum sets there too? One of the pads on mine is completely unresponsive so I need a new set.

I usually see the drum sets often enough, but not near as often as the guitars, probably a 1:3 ratio of appearance.
 
Yeah, I have got about 6 wireless guitars for $2 each from goodwill for xbox, and have been flipping them on ebay easily.
