Do I buy?

I don't like the ad. All of the consoles have been opened, and as such may be missing important things from the insides. And, the guy is trying to sell a Game Boy Advanced SP as a DS, which is not cool.

I would stay away. It looks good on the surface, but I smell some liecake with this guy. I think he is trying to pull a fast one.

Yeah I know it's an SP. I also know the consoles are in need of repair. It seems like a good deal in terms of lots of things for cheap but honestly not sure what I'd do with the stuff. There's really no telling what the problems are. If it's just DREs or if it's junkyard, etc.

From what I see in the ad, it looks like ruined things. Probably useless and only can be used as parts. I would be surprised if you could make even a couple of the entire set work.

Broken consoles are worth something, but not last-gen consoles.

If you're not sure what you'd do with it, why are you thinking about buying 22 non-functional consoles? I mean, if you have the skills to repair them or the wherewithal to turn a profit re-selling the parts, than by all means. But I don't see the percentage in buying a bunch of broken stuff just because it seems like a good deal, you know?

Well I've been wanting a slim PS2 and was going to pay $50 just for that so $10 more for 21 other consoles seemed like a good idea.

You do understand it is $10 more for 21 broken consoles and there is no guarantee that you will be able to pull parts from each broken one and come out with a 100% working unit?

Yeah I decided against it. Even though there are repair people in the area, it just comes out to be not that sound of an investment.

The Xboxes if not gutted and are only fragging can be fixed by a certain 3-wire trick. But I doubt that is the problem with them.

Considering that he says he has multiple parts as well as the consoles themselves, I'd say the guy selling these is a console-repair person. Chances are he maxed out the parts/repair functionality of all these systems and at their current point they are just paperweights.
