Do you guys have any idea how much this could sell for? (NFL Rookie Card Question)

LF2

CAGiversary!
Today I opened up a box of 2006 Fleer Ultra football cards that I had purchased at Target, and to my great surprise(Hell I was extremely shocked) I pulled a Lucky 13 Reggie Bush Autographed card. Now what I'm wondering is do any of you have any idea how much I could possibly sell the card for. The reason is I want to sell it now while Bush is extremely hot, and I can make as much profit off of it as possible.

You really think your gonna make profit off someone who hasnt even played a NFL game yet? LOL! BTW Reggie Bush is not hot at all, in fact he's not even considered the top 15 in RB's according to all Fantasy Polls. Why would you sell a Rookie Card for maybe $20 at most to begin with of a player who "maybe" great in the future that could be worth much more? Thats stupid. Not to mention this is a GAMING FORUM not NFL FORUM.

If you have this version:

You're looking at $75-$175. According to the auction, book value is $250, but I haven't seen a single completed eBay auction for that much.

My guess, however, is that you have this card:

Its the Target exclusive and those seem to be capping out at $10. Not too much profit to be found there.

Either way, I'd sell sooner than later. There have been several articles over the past few weeks (in the LA Times and Slate, to name two sources) discussing the fall of the collectible card market. In summary - too much supply, not enough demand.

First things first. Never buy any cards at a retail store IE Walmart, KMart, Target, etc. Always buy your cards from a Sports Card store.

Yah, retail stores never have hobby packs. hobby packs usually have the higher priced insert cards.

Typically, yes, but those Walmart 2006 topps series 1 baseball boxes were very good to me. Pulled 2 full alex gordon RCs out of 5 boxes and sold them to my local shop for $1000 each!

You obviously have no clue about sports cards or even sports. Football cards have absolutely nothing to do with Fantasy football.

Holy Shnikes! What do these boxes/cards look like?!?!

nice find. I'll never forget when I pulled out my Beam Team Michael Jordan card. Whew.... that was a nice card. I still have all my NFL, MLB and NBA collection too.. I think i got about 30 Garnett rookies. Hahaha.
whos alex gordon?
He's a pretty good prospect for the Royals, But the reason that it's so valuable is that the card was supposed to be pulled from the set but some snuck out into the Walmart boxes.

I have no clue about sports cards or sports just because I'm referencing Fantasy Rankings of players for football? That makes me have no clue? So I guess you think Reggie Bush is one of the top 10 RB's in todays game? Ya right.

Again I referenced rankings, that is all. Ok "dude"? Sorry "bro"!

Can you still use the weight technique on cards? I remember that rare card such as bat cards, jersey cards or foils weight more.
