Do you think VoIP will ever happen for Wii?

Whenever I think about games like Batallion Wars 2, and Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for Wii I consider the fact that there is no voice chat for the Wii, and that dissapoints me. The Wii has bluetooth capabilities and I would really like to see it put to good use in a headset/microphone combination.

Do you think it'll ever happen? The DS has it, and it's a portable.

There's a chance, but probably not.

It really depends on what it looks like the lifespan of the Wii will be in a year or two. Nintendo might adopt it if they think the Wii will be able to compete for 5 or 6 more years with the 360/PS3, but if they plan on releasing a different console in 4 years or so, probably not.

I would put the odds at around 5% there ends up being some sort of voice chat for the Wii.
