I bought Document of Metal Gear Solid 2 for $10 at gamestop complete and near mint. Isn't this supposed to be rare or something, please let me know if i paid a good price.

It's not rare at all, EB and gamestop are always packed with these things. I got mine for about seven, well worth the $.

only 1 million were made, so if you keep it sealed for 10 years, youll be rich!

I don't even think it is difficult to find, let alone rare. Those damned things are all over the discount bins at the local EBs and GSs.

Chances are if you walk into a retail store and find something for 20 bucks or less it isn't rare.

What about the guy that picked up Lunar 2 for $20 earlier?

/I know, exceptions, etc...

Was the copy of Lunar 2 for 20 dollars complete? Besides that you can get complete boxed sets of Lunar 2 on ebay for less than it's original retail price. I'd say that's not exactly rare.

Complete and apparently brand spanking new.

Is it rare? Nah. But the CAG filter should replace 'rare' with 'valuable', which is what the OP was looking at.

Yes, you can get Lunar 2 for less than retail on eBay, but it's not much of a savings. Average after shipping cost is about $45. Compared to the average PSOne title, that's valuable.

Always imitated but never duplicated. Close punq, close, nearly fooled me there.

Hmm...okay. I found Klonoa 2 : Lunatea's Vail for $17.99 new, and now it sells for at least $40 used. Ofcourse I am not selling mine cause its one of the best games I have.

A lot of people seem to think that Document is rare. When I went to see Hideo Kojima at his Los Angeles appearances, attendees were only allowed one item to be autographed. Dozens of people brought Document because they (loudly) proclaimed it to be rare, which would compound the autograph's value on eBay.

I, on the other hand, got an autograph on my first-printing Japanese import of Policenauts for PlayStation.

None of us were told that there was a one-item limit until the actual time of the appearances -- GameStop had even told me over the phone that morning that I could get three items signed -- so a few people, including me, brought the Boktai cartridge with them among several other Kojima-related items. But with the limit enforced, I didn't see anyone choose it as their single item to be autographed...
