Does amazon canada charge tax?

Because when I go to the checkout, just before I put my credit card info, it shows a subtotal with no tax, even though they should the tax amount before I pay with a card. So I was just wondering if Amazon.ca charges tax in Ontario for video games.

Is the item you're buying actually sold by Amazon? The only way I could see an order going through them without tax is if you're buying from the marketplace.
I find it hilarious that you had the intelligence to post it on Yahoo questions (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20091212223732AAn2yc3) but failed to Google this simple query.

Whaaaaat no tinyurl? Brutal...
Even though the question is identical, you can't accuse them of asking it on both Yahoo and CAG. They could just be two people asking an identical question. It happens a lot more often than people think.
Also, you would be amazed how many people don't know how to use google and think that forums solve every and all problems...

Actually, BECAUSE the question is identical is the reason why they would be accused of posting the question on Yahoo! and CAG.

You're saying that two people ask the same question on different sites at approximately the same time and use the EXACT SAME WORDING / PUNCTUATION?

Amazing.

You think so? I'll admit, some of the users here are definitely eaaarly teen, but I would wager the majority of the users (or at least the posters) are well above the legal driving limit (or insert other definition of being a minor here).
