Does anyone else have this weirdity?

First: WinXP, FF 1.5.0.4

When I browse a thread, if someone posts a link to another thread and I open it in a new tab, the new tab will not have me logged in anymore. It happened most recently in this thread: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100379 when I clicked onetrackmind's link in the 7th post.

It's because his link doesn't have the www in front.
Not sure exactly how to fix that.

I've had that happen before occasionally, didn't really pay attention to the URL, but I guess that could be it.

Maybe the cookie needs to be generalized a bit (I assume that's how the login is store) so anything.cheapassgamer.com would work?
