Does anyone have a CAG/Deal Seeking Nemesis in their hometown????

CAGiversary!
In the last year or so, I've pretty much hit up any kind of store in my area looking for videogames and other clearanced or cheap items. I ALWAYS run into this one dude. It's freaky! Anyway, I know my success on some of these items hasn't been as good as in the past and I totally blame it all on this one guy. No matter where I go, there will be one time in a week that I'm guaranteed to run into him. Couple weeks ago I saw him at Goodwill for god sake's. Today, saw him at Target probably making my clearance rack run that I do ever once in a while. Whenever there is a videogame sale it's a guarantee that guy will be there over lunch. This guy drives me nuts and I was wondering if any of you guys have the same problem.

There's a guy here who will hit up all the sales, and then take them to his booth at the flea market and charge about twice as much as what he paid.

When Gamerush had their 50% off select Nintendo titles, this guy had the whole list for sale that Sunday. 35 bucks for Metroid Prime 2 that he got for 22.50, and cleaned the store out of. 14.99 for NES Classics that he paid 7 for.

Not to mention all the used games like Gran Tursimo 4 and DoA Ultimate that he didn't even take the Gamerush stickers off of, and it was obvious he used the trade 3 deal on them. No way he's buying it for 45 and selling it for 40, so it makes sense this way.

It's funny that when EB had Paper Mario for Gamecube for 19.99, he magically got in 3 or 4 of them marked at 35, and people thought they were getting an awesome deal.

I'm more concerned about the unseen hordes of shoppers that are regularly cleaning out various stores of all the good deals than with one or two regulars. So far, I've only seen one true hoarder grabbing any and everything on sale, but thankfully I've moved since then (so it didn't have to come to blows). :D

There was a guy that used to do that. Every day I'd see him and his little brother going to the store to see what new games they had. Whenever there was some promo items that you could get for free, the clerks would always give him extras.

Maybe it was because he was in a wheelchair, I don't know. Anyways, I ran up behind him once and dragon punched him in the back, then ran away like I stole something.

I've never seen a wheelchair move through six lanes of traffic faster.

The only time I grab to excess, is at targets post christmas toy sale. Once the toys hit 75% off, I'm a maniac. I must own every friggin toy on sale. I was accused of being compulsive in another thread, and when it comes to target toy sales, I have to sadly admit to my shortcoming. My wife, believes I'm reliving my child hood, but to be honest, it's due to my feeling of being a poor father (at work too much).

I do wish sometimes that I lived in a more rural area, where only me a 1 other person owned a computer, so that all the deals would be mine...

Then you'd have to drive to a city where the stores are, and then compete with the niche of gaming fanatics there, like I do.

I think it's a rule that Best Buy cannot be located in a town with less than 25,000 people.

Next time you see him, just go Highlander on his ass and say, " THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!"

I was late to one of those CC sales one time, and there were two guys, presumably CAGs but who knows, talking about how they heard some other store in the south got hit by some guy who spent like $2K in one sitting. I'm sure there are a lot of folks like that here in Austin, but I've never seen any in person.

Yeah in the last year or so, I've pretty much hit up any kind of store in my area looking for videogames and other clearanced or cheap items. I ALWAYS run into this one dude, that keeps checking me out. It's freaky! Anyway, I know I always beat him to the deals but no matter where I go there will be at least one time in a week that I run into him. A couple weeks ago I saw him at Goodwill, I'm really beginning to think he's stalking me. Today, I saw him at Target and I tried to leave without him seeing me and I rushed over to the Police Station to get some info on getting a restraining order. Whenever I go out CAG'n there this creep is eye-ballin me. This guy drives me absolutely nuts and I'm going to the court house to do something about it tomorrow.

I have one but i have yet to run into him. ive only been told by store employees that i know.

I had a nemesis when i was into collecting Star Wars toys. I almost beat the shit out of him once

I have a nemesis myself. In fact he even comes by my work at times, but I don't know who he is by face. I only know him by name.... I think its something to the effect of Zman310.
