New, first post. I have several ps2 games that I don't play anymore that are takeing up space and I want to make some of my money back. I want to get a psp, but I doubt I could pay for it with trade in credit. My question is how much do you think I could get for these games at ebgames, gamestop, or gamecrazy? Any suggestions when it is a good time to trade in? As for the psp I'm just going to wait untill they sell the psp alone.

Sly 1,
sly2, free (sony holiday demo)
LOTR: two towers, 8 ebgames
Ico, 10 kmart
final fantasy x, 10
Ratchet and Clank 1
RaC 2
midnight club 1
nba street 1
simpson's road rage
wipeout fusion, 2.50 TRU green tag
madden 2002, 3 ebgames
nba live 2002, 3 ebgames
grand theft auto double pack:gta 3 and 4

you'll probably end up doign better selling them on here as opposed to trading them in at a game store where they'll give you a few bucks and sell it for 5 times what they gave you

I think you would get the most at GameCrazy. They "guarantee" that they have the best trade in prices and i think they also accept all games. I dont know how much you'd get but GC is probly the best.

Most stores won't take it just because it has the hole through the UPC (which is Sony's way of showing that it was free).

I just looked at the game and the hole didn't touch any barcode line. Only few white from the top part of the white background.

No matter, retailers know what to look for.

Malice for Xbox gets you $27 credit at the Wherehouse. thats awesome! I hope they take it at the retail stores near me.

how is the Wherehouse retail experience when you sell them games? they're the same as the price listed online.. right? I found some Drakes (Xbox) at TRU for $3.48 each, and convert them to $9 credit each (profit of $5 each from cash to credit) if thats so. do I need a state or drivers license / ID? do they care how much of each you trade in? do they keep track of what I trade in? its just that these aren't the questions I would normally ask someone who works there, because they might get suspicious. thanks for a reply.

Trade-in to Gamerush/Blockbuster will get you the most trade value (plus add their $5 bonus to EACH game traded). You can also try Amazon.com and Gamefly.com. Ebay is full of deadbeats and only eBay and Paypal make any money.

i think u can ask people in the fye thread on this site if i don't answer any of your questions. basically, i think you show them driver's license yeah. the store i visit didn't care when i traded about 2-3 copies of each game in one visit. my store doesn't take anymore games if they have 2 copies of it already though. so, i have to wait till they sell em to trade in more.... :booty:

however, all this depends on the store. i know someone in another state who's able to trade in the same game everyday (1 per day). yet, if there are cashiers in the back AND front, he can trade in 2 per day! i am so jealous. as for drake, it went from 15.00, i think, to 9.00, so u have to check the fye thread on the latest updates!!

You're better off selling them here, cause you're lucky if you get $2 each for these games:

midnight club
nba street
simpson's road rage
wipeout fusion
madden 2002
nba live 2002
Grand Theft Auto 3(they would count GTA 3 & VC as two games)

The rest, you'd probably get around $4-$5 a piece for if you trade in at the stores.

The Trade/Sell board, just post the prices(might as well include shipping w/ it, since people will ask).

You might to look at Gamestop.com and EBgames.com as a way to see how much the games are going for.
