does Baten Kaitos have anything to do with Legend of dragoon for the ps1

how they go into battle with those wings it reminds me of the old LOD game for the ps1. is this game have anything to do with that or is it just it looks the same

The legend of dragoon was developed by SCEI (Sony / Japan).
Baten Kaitos was developed by Monolith Soft.

They're completely different. The characters in BK have wings for a WAY different reason than the Dragoon forms of the characters in LoD. Both are great games, though.

Oh man, I loved Dragoon. Played it for so long.

They are different as everyone has stated.
