Does Midway Arcade Treasures 1 come with two different covers?

Last month I bought Midway Arcade Treasures 1 at an EB using the coupon in the GMR to get it for 9.99. ALl looked fine and dandy.

Over the weekend I noticed at BB that they had a different cover than I have for the game. Could it be that either EB or BB got an exclusive voer of it or could be that they re-released it with a different cover? Are there any difference between the two other than the cover?

Will one be worth more than they other?

Sorry I just have a lot of questions.
 
i think that they just released the newer cover to make it look like volume 2 more..........so when they're together, they'll look like a set.

The two are not rare at all...Both can be found all over the place.

You are talking to people who collect multiple copies of the same NES games simply because they have variations of the Nintendo Seal of Quality. :cool:
 
It is unlikely that either of these will ever be rare, since they are found all over the place. It's simply a matter of taste. As far as I know, the actual contents on the disc are identical, so it really doesn't matter.

I think the January issue will be the last issue. It's really strange though how all of a sudden the magazine is folding. This issue (I believe it is the December issue) is the mag's 3 year anniversary.

To answer PhrostByte's question, I think the magazine is either 4.99 or 5.99. Still not to bad.
